look at the clouds, look at the formation. that's what could bring on some thunderstorms today. so it's really unstable out there. those are not the usual clouds we see over the bay bridge. so some really cool stuff and thanks to our wonderful director for doing that, he calls the shots, stan portwood. so it's unstable out there, i'm excited because i'm kind of a geek but bu you're probably excited as well. this does indicate we're headed toward a pattern change. this is a mix of rain and snow right over the sierra nevada. we're getting straight snowfall this morning, albeit very light.

welcome back. breaking news out of chicago's o'hare airport. >> kris sanchez joins us now with the very latest. >> reporter: we've called our three major area bay airports and they say the cans laegs of grounding flights at o'hare and mid way are not impacting travelers here but that would be yet and that would be directly impacting. this is video we just got from chicago inside chicago o'hare airports. all flights into and out of the chicago o'hare airport and mid way airmt. weep just got a row. >> 10 flights are cancelled out of chicago and they have 21 flights diverdicted to tampa.

as we've already reported this morning, flights out of o'hare are grounded after reports of a fire in the faa building had to evacuate. no the crews managed put it out before it spread. that man is now at the hospital, undergoing treatment. nowhere go thwe've been told the are no delays out of sfo, oakland and noon reflected on the fa's own flight tracker now.
