together will help him. >> a south bay school administrator in hot water this morning for allegedly threatening a principal. chris is a member of santa clara unified school district board, accused of threatening the principal of peterson middle school where his son goes to school. the principal has on it and a temporary restraining order against stampolis. he denies doing anything wrong. >> absolutely not. all the photos she submitted only have me in them, not her. >> i don't think he's helping the best interest of our students. if he can't change his ways, i'd like to see him step down. >> a judge will decide the future of the restraining order later this month. >> a public memorial service

will be held today for late san jose police chief joseph mcma h mcnamara. he gained notoriety for speaking out against the l.a. king beating that sparked the riots. he died at his home in carmel last month. he was 79 years old. >> medical response times in san jose still are not up to standard. a new report showing that the fire department's response to medical emergencies has breached its contract nine out of the past 12 months. they're required to respond in less than 8 minutes 90% of the time. the board voted to withhold

93 for the north day, 88 for the east shore, and 97 for the tri-valley. tomorrow we're talking about the hottest weather potentially in the bay area since 2012. i'll let you know what that means for your temperature in your microclimate. but first, happy friday, mike. >> let's take a live look over toward the tri-valley. this is westbound 580. dublin, smooth flow of traffic. on our maps we're looking at eastbound 580. overnight crews clearing from that area. a little bit of yellow coming over out of the altamount pass. typical pattern over there. no problem approaching the bay bridge but eastbound 580 be careful, reports of a wrong-way driver at 106th avenue.

investigated with an alleged sexual assault. stillman, who currently plays for the dallas cowboys has not been arrested or charged. officials say he's cooperating with the investigation. it happened the day before the cowboys played at st. louis. the specific nature of allegations have not been released. spillman played for the 49ers up until last year. >> a u.c. berkeley sports team said it's been kicked out of its practice facility and is threatening pursue. the cal women's field hockey team has been practicing at stanford since the sart of the school year because their own practice facility is closed due to construction of their own practice granl. they were told now that their field is being turned into a practice field for the football
