and rock med runs them. >> there will be free water at the tents today. nurses will be at all of the tents. >> to see how hot those temperatures are going to rise, let's go to rob mayeda. >> we will see mostly 90s around the area, including some unusual sports, pacifica. san francisco will see the temperatures warming quickly. and temperatures only cooling down slowly as you approach 6:00 and 9:00 this evening. that heat advisory up through 9:00 this evening and very likely into the weekend as well. i'll have a full look at how hot it will get in your neighborhood. >> we usually have that fog rolling in -- oh, okay.

look, no fog. that's probably why it's not so cool right now. look at your maps of the north bay. nothing unusual. right now highway 37 and over from vallejo, an easy drive there. just your typical overnight road crews, including the south bay. but i think you guys have an update on one of those typical overnight crews, a change there. >> this morning a third ramp near the 880-280 boulevard near stevens creek boulevard. they'll see a new signalized intersection. traffic will no longer loop under the bridge, instead they'll make a left-hand turn. it's all part of a $60 million project.

>> we have breaking news now. as many as 25 homes and several cars were flooded as water from a busted pipe gushed down a san francisco street overnight. it happened not far from candle stick. stephanie chuang is live. what's the latest? >> reporter: good morning to you. we're talking 61 homes flooded and a car into the sinkhole. the water that you see now flowing down is actually just the remains, they were able to cap this about half an hour ago. but you see the water that pooled off here and the water department came in and laid down a cutback, this asphalt-like material to divert the water. this was flowing down the

hillside and into home. i want to bring in tyrone, who is with the san francisco public utilities commission. what happened? >> it was a 12-inch water main break. unfortunately a bunch of homes flooded out, flooded basements, flooded lower units. we're working on cleaning those now. >> reporter: you've been with the upc for 12 years, this is one of the worst ones? >> i've definitely seen worse ones. i've seen up to 60-inch lines break. this is significant but not anything we're not accustomed to taking care of. >> reporter: you guys have been here since midnight. moving forward what's the plan here? >> we're going to start lifting

up the asphalt where the break occurred. this will allow to us see what happened. we don't know why the break happened quite yet. we'll be able to fix it and get service back restored. until then, there will be about three blocks without water and there will be a little bit of traffic disruption where the break occurred. >> reporter: as you heard him say, there's a bit of a traffic impasse but it's really residential here. crews will be out here to help homeowners moving forward, a big clean-up job we're talking about. and we'll talk with the neighbors who had the chaos this morning. >> thank you, stephanie. >> state health leaders are meeting to talk about the current status of enterovirus.

in almeida county, doctors aren't saying much about the condition of each patient, whether they're in the hospital or even how old they are. we do know children are extremely vulnerable and deadly cases are rare. the virus presents symptoms similar to a cold or a flu but some cases can lead to partial or temporary paralysis. the health department only tests children with more severe symptoms. the department says it's important to be vigilant about stopping the spread of germs. many parents admit that can be kind of tough to do. >> standing in line, the girl next to her is sneezing, right in her face. she wasn't really backing up so i had to tell her get out of her face, she's sneezing, or get

away from her. >> wash your hands frequently with so or water. it far more effective than using hand sanitizers. >> a freelance photographer working with an nbc news crew in liberia is on his way home this morning after testing positive for ebola. he has been in west africa for three years. he was immediately quarantined and he is now being flown home for treatment. snyderman says he is in good spirits and the virus was detected early. nbc is spending a private jet for the rest of the crew. they will stay quarantined. >> out of an abundance of caution, we are quarantining ourselves. >> duncan was apparently infected with the virus while

helping a pregnant woman in liberia. that woman died later. duncan has been quarantine and officials are tracking dozens of people he had contact with. that possible case of ebola in hawaii we told you about yesterday, that person has tested negative for the ebola virus. >> and the family's attorney said he has video showing jahi's hand and feet moving after the mother asks her to move them. she was declared brain dead. currently she's being cared for at a new jersey hospital. >> hundreds who live in a peninsula mobile home park have

coast. mostly 90s in the forecast from the beaches out toward the tri-valley inland and a spare the air day, too, for problems with some ground level ozone as we go through the afternoon. areas south of san jose by 3:00 could be nearing records in the 90s. the reason why the heat advisory is up into the evening will be just a slow dropoff in temperatures, even as the sun sets. some of the numbers we're looking at in the bay area today, 93 in the forecast today. there you see the upper 90s around saratoga. upper 80s and low 90s in the forecast there. very hot this time of year. for the north bay, highs running in the 90s. seeing temperatures probably through sunday staying in the mid 90s. the coast and bay will begin to cool off as we head toward sunday and monday. for the blue grass festival the

. jpmorgan is revealing nearly 76 million households and 7 million businesses had their information stolen by hackers. that attack was first launched back in june but was not noticed by the bank until mid august.

the people affected are mostly bank users. security experts say hackers are turning away from stealing credit card numbers. >> we're finding in the secondary markets and the black markets right now that personal data, medical records, personal data that can be used for identity theft, this is more valuable than single credit card numbers. >> jpmorgan telling customers they doesn't need to change their pass words or account information. >> investigators will get a chance to react to the latest information from jpmorgan chase. courtney reagan is live with a look at how the markets are doing this morning. >> reporter: good morning. the s&p 500 index barely avoiding its first four-day losing streak of the year. investors are awaiting news.

we have another hot day in the forecast for tomorrow. but by sunday the pattern changes should arrive, will be the signs of the strengthening sea breeze. and as you see there in the seven-day forecast, you should begin to see those temperatures drop off. this will continue until about 7:00 this evening. until 9:00 tonight, could see the temperatures in the interior valley. as you look hour by hour for a forecast here for san francisco, soaring near 90. another warm evening out around san francisco for today. highs near low to mid 90s. campbell heading into morgue an hill, peninsula temperatures near the low 90s toward the sfo airport, too.

santa rosa and napa mid 90s and probably until about sunday seeing temperatures in the mid 90s. tri-valley will have to wait until monday or tuesday next week before the cooldown. >> an employee started a fire in the basement telecommunications room before trying to take his life last week. the fire caused damage, shutdown two international airports and snarled air traffic nationwide. >> hundreds are expected to protest again after the school board seeking to change classes.
