president obama will be back in the bay area to help shore up the dnc's bank accounts. >> yes, we are the nation's atm. nanette is live. >> reporter: good morning. president obama's plan is to bring in big bucks for he is party. in political circles, california is known as an atm. president obama is expected to touch down in air force i around 3:30 before head ing ing to to hotel. you can expect the motorcade to that location will tie up traffic for a bit as offramps and streets along the route are closed. tonight's event is sold out. folks who paid $500 get a

car. it is the same cougar that hid for nine hours behind a hedge. experts say the cougar was still young and was probably trying to establish his own territory when he was hit. >> and some claim that oakland shelter is euthanizing dogs that should considered too young. >> my concern is if a dog like buttons can slip through the cracks and be labeled aggressive, then how many other dogs are there out there just like they are that don't have the chance? >> animal lovers are urging city leaders to make that shelter a

>> and i'm sam brock. people in palo alto are on the lookout for a man who exposed himself to net another woman this weekend, making police con der whether there is a connection between these inciden incidence. >> though police have not determined whether the incidents are connected, they are asking the public for help. yesterday a woman in her 20s was riding her bicycle and man driving a sedan, bmw, stopped in the middle of traffic and called out to her. when she turned, he had exposed himself. the woman took off quickly and called police within a half hour. but when they arrived the suspect was gone. the suspect is described as a

and now to the stock market where you can just say whatever you want and it will be true on any given day. scott mcgrew, what's going on? >> that's right. throw up your hands. i got no analysis. one of the keys to our society is our markets are supposed to make sense and they don't. wednesday the dow had its biggest gain of the year. thursday the dow saw its biggest loss in more than a year! we told you germany had a slower economy and the markets were listening to the same news. the dow fell 300 points. the only guys who had a good day are these guys from pub spot. they made enough money to buy some really wicked new cars. now speaking of cars, tesla did introduce a dual driver, all-wheel drive car.
