them. >> we'll talk to you in a bit and certainly no vacation picnic for a lot of people on a cruise ship that just docked in galveston. it docked 6 eastern time, letting off passengers including that woman who was being watched closely for ebola. our top story this morning is the possible break in the search for the missing student hannah graham. she disappeared six weeks ago, law officials announce they found human remains. >> police say they found the remains thought to be those of hannah graham on an abandoned property outside of charlottesville, less than ten miles where she disappeared. although they have notified graham's parents, police are still working to confirm the identity. her parents and college community now preparing for the worst. >> at the university of virginia shock and grief as word spread

that human remains were found, possibly those of hannah graham. >> i think it's really scary and definitely disturbing. >> it's terribly sad. our hearts go out to the whole family. >> it's important that her parents get closure if it's her. >> sometime before noon today, a search team from the chesterfield county sheriffs department was searching a property in southern area of the county when they discovered human remains. detective james mooney of the charlottesville police department made a very difficult phone call and reached out to john and susan graham to share with them this preliminary discovery. >> those who found her also spoke out. >> a definite wow moment. when we sent these guys off, it

was with the hopes that they were going down there with a fresh set of eyes and would turn something up. >> the 18-year-old disappeared in the early hours of saturday, september 13th, last seen with a man identified as 32-year-old jesse matthew. matthew has been charge with abducting graham and linked to other cases of sexual assault. so far, he hasn't entered a plea. for weeks, this community has come together to search for graham, holding vigils. her parents pleading for the public's help. >> please, please, please, please help end this nightmare for all of us. >> authorities are now conducting forensic tests on the remains hoping to bring closure. >> they will look at the clothing, personal items, dna, dental chart, anything they can to make a positive identification. >> as this community braces itself. now in a statement, matthew's attorney said i understand the search teams found remains on an abandoned farm. we are waiting to see the

commitment. >> the cruise ship is scheduled to take on 4,000 more passengers as well as its 1,400 member kpru crew on board, but before it does, it will be deeply sanitized, if no other reason to give those next passengers some peace of mind. turning now to that chaotic scene in new hampshire. an annual pumpkin festival in a college town, exploded into a riot in the streets. ron mott is in new hampshire with us. >> reporter: this was supposed to be a family friendly event. they had some problems last year but the folks who came here this year to disrupt the proceedings, they took it to another level. take a look at the street behind me. i'm not sure exactly what was burned here. i think it was a couch or mattress of some kind. you can see the street is littered with beer cans and this was a family friendly event. take a look at some of the pictures yesterday. this all started about 2:00 in the afternoon where police had

to be call to break up some of these parties off the college campus here of keen state college where a lot of people decided to spend the afternoon drinking and toward the end of the evening, decided to head toward the pumpkin fest. police fired rubber bullets and tear gas into this crowd. dozens of people were hurt. no one admitted but there were a lot of cuts and bruises as you can imagine. there is one shot of young man where the police told him to go beyond a barricade and had to be taken down forcibly. we don't know the number of arrests. we're waiting to hear back from the police department on the number. the college president says she's very disappointed that some of her students were involved in this yesterday. >> quite a scene, all right. >> i'm looking at that. all this action at one side and then you hear pumpkin fest.

ahead with this very strict voter i.d. law. what's behind that? >> i think the supreme courts wants to take it up in some form, they didn't intervene in some voter i.d. laws were thrown out in other states. this one, they decided to let it stand, which tells you at some point, it looks like they want to try to take a larger case on this issue of voter i.d., what is constitutional and what isn't. obviously, they thought so close to an elect, let the rules stand and it's usually where the supreme court is, even if they don't have an opinion one way or the other on constitutionality, if it gets too close to an election, they will say whatever the state has been doing to prepare, let it go for now and then we'll discuss. we'll see, it will be interesting to see what kind of impact. this could be a good test case. a lot of people upset about that voter i.d. law. now, they have an election to find out how many voters. >> ebola is becoming a political

issue. ron clay, the new point person on the ebola crisis apparently had a meeting this week with whitehouse chief of staff. where is the president on this. is this still a game of catch up right now, trying to get ahead of this? >> it is. it's sort of a like wash, rinse, repeat, episode when it comes to president obama, where the white house looks like they are behind the eight ball and they throw a whole bunch of resources on it. and they eventually get ahead of it. the question is do they get ahead of it before the democrats in november. >> dylan is still in bermuda as we mentioned this morning. residents are making a lot of headway from the hurricane. that's great news. >> it certainly is. guys, i swear i'm only here

because the airport is closed. >> sure, dylan. >> the weather is fantastic now. i want to point out this was a major storm that hit this island. there were no lives lost. there were no critical injuries reported. 5:30 yesterday morning, we saw a lot of damage. there were power lines draped across the roads. there were huge trees blocking the path, but then by noontime all of a sudden all the major debris was cleared away. power was already starting to get restored and all the roads were passable. this island rebounded so quickly, we did talk to some residents who lost pieces of their roofs and they said hey we're all safe. i was with my family. a little bit of damage. we'll fix it. the resilience here was amazing to see and it's almost like the storm never happened. there is some minor clean-up but things are already improving here in bermuda. i want to point out hurricane ana is a category 1 storm staying well to the south of the

come from old rules really. this is respecting the fact it's a wedding. this is about respecting the couple's wishes. first and foremost, that's the biggest guideline. knowing what it means to be a good guest. you put your cell phone away for the ceremony and reception. you're not posting photos of the bride until she's actually married. you don't want to post anybody's news that they got married or engaged on social media until it actually happened. it's bad enough having the cell phone out. don't block anybody's view with the ipad. >> what about the parents of groom or bride. they put this no digital rule. what do you think about that? >> unless you're an a-list celebrity, putting this on the entire day is a big ask of your guests. if you want to say something what i think is fair, listen bride, groom, what about if we
