sis fears realized. the fbi is watching three wanna be american teen terrorists all from denver, all girls, two sisters, 17 and 16 and a 15-year-old friend. the fbi says they were lured online through an english land waj isis video. the girls vanished last friday. they allegedly took a flight from denver to germany with plans to go to syria. their journey ended in frankfurt where they were grabbed by security. in syria, did air drop weapons for the kurds fall into isis hands. isis says yes and has the video to prove it. the pentagon is still trying to verify it. good nusz in the u.s. ebola fight. an infected nbc cameraman is virus free. in just hours ashoka mukpo will be out of quarantine. ebola is about to change the way we travel again. nbc's tracie potts is live in washington. tracie, we know you have details about a possible new case. >> dara, we're following a

liberian national, according to sources, left, went through brussels, landed through newark with a fever and was immediately isolated. doctors are waiting on tests to come back to see if, in fact, he has the virus. this morning a newark, new jersey, hospital is evaluating a passenger from west africa who the cdc had symptoms and was possibly exposed to ebola. nearly 600 people have been screened, only four transported and none had the virus. ashoka mukpo did. doctors say he is now virus-free. this morning the nbc freelance hospital is scheduled to walk out of a hospital. he tweeted it's a profound relief. he says he's lucky and thinking about the two nurses infected. nina pham's been upgraded to good and relatives say amber vinson is responding to treatment. the government says flights from guinea, sierra leone and liberia must land at one of five u.s. ai ports with enhanced screening, but still no travel bands.

enough, i lived it. >> i don't. >> you still watch it? >> i still watch it. >> reporter: those whose lives he touched and careers he made were under his spell for life. >> ben bradlee was not a cynical man, not cynical about politics. it was always fact driven. as a reporter you appreciate that and, in fact, i fell in love with it and him. >> ben bradlee was 93 years old. now to this, she had us at hello. rene zelwigger is making waves across the internet for her new look. she made a rare appearance on monday. for comparison, here's a picture from monday next to a picture of zelwigger in 2010. the change in appearance is drawing comparisons to other stars like meg ryan and jennifer grey who have both been the topic of celebrity plastic surgeries in the past.

it's sometime to turn to weather. it looks like a nor'easter is brewing. nbc's bill karins is here with the forecast. what are we up against? >> storms on the corner. the nor'easter affecting new york city to boston. in the north, a strong cold front coming onshore bringing a lot of heavy rain there. for the northwest, this is going to be one of the rig guest rain events since last season. mountains, four to seven inches. mount baker it will be cold enough to snow, it was like feet of snow. as far as the coastal areas, high wind warnings for the oregon coast and some areas of the washington coastline. winds up to 70 miles per hour. so far the big cities have been getting about a quur tore to about a half inch of rain. you can see we're locked in in the middle of this. it will be windy as you go throughout your morning commute. it should lighten a little bit during the after snoon. about one to two inches is expected in olympia, eugene and into portland. as far as the moisture behind it, showery behind the heavy rains as that cold front kicks on through. we're still not watching this

moisture making its way down to central california. total predictions with this event and another one coming will be somewhere around three inches. the mountains will pick up more than that. so significant rain in the next week. your forecast again, southern california, no rain for areas, about 20 to 30 miles per hour. in southern and central california, you're dry. rain on the corners. airport delays shouldn't be too bad. >> let's hope it moves out for a nice weekend forecast. >> that's what we like. toys "r" us puts their most controversial toy on indefinite seb bat curveball. disgraced former congressman

this morning on "today," a new biography claims jackie kennedy battled post-traumatic stress disorder in the wake of j.f.k.'s assassination. the first lady's untold story on "today." >> for the latest in sports, betty nguyen. game one of the world series in kansas city. fired up royals fans packed the house for kc's first appearance in 29 years. that was short lived. the giants took a shutout into the seventh inning. finally in the bottom of the seventh, royals' salvador perez puts them on the board with a solo homer to left. giants win 7-1, snapping the royals eight-game-winning sleep. a clash between moscow and manchester city was played in a big stadium, a big empty one, that is. fans are banned from three matches at the arena for racist behavior displayed during a match against the czech soccer club last december. the closed doors game ended in a

leading the news, in "forbes" the hits keep coming forward wren buffet and ibm stumble. they lost $2 billion in two days. not at all. don't feel bad for buffet. his stock is still up over 17% this year. and on nbcnews.com, who is jesse matthew, u.v.a. suspect's long history of bad acts. the man expect the in the abduction of hannah graham has a string of accusations ranging from sexual assault to forensic evidence linking him to previous killings. and making news this morning, wyoming is now the 32nd state in the country to legalize same-sex marriage. the change went into effect on tuesday.

officials say statewide only a handful of same sex couples applied for licenses yesterday. meanwhile in north carolina a judge has resigned so he wouldn't have to perform same-sex marriages. magistrate judge gilbert breedlove says it was something he could don't because of religious beliefs. more than 6,000 license haves been issued since the ban was struck down earlier this month. in california, a freak accident caused a gas station roof to collapse. a vehicle backed into a fire hydrant and all the water sprayed on top of the structure causing it to buckle. the roof fell off the top of the fuel pumps below and fortunately no one was hurt. pretty amazing here. to celebrate 50 years of diplomatic relations with france, the chinese government thought a 49-foot-tall robotic dragon and 19-foot spider would be the perfect things to mark the occasion. the event held inside beijing's olympic park tells the chinese story of the creation of human
