>> reporter: good morning. we're at a two-story home on farm crest avenue in milpittias. when firefighters arrived they found four people stuck on the roof trying to escape the fire. apparently the grandmother was burned and was transported to the hospital while the other three residents, a woman and her two daughters were being rescued by ladder. a couple of this many ended up jumping roof about 10 to 12 feet. understandably they were still pretty shaken up and did not want to go on camera. about 20 people were evacuated from the homes in five areas. neighbors have been allowed back into their homes but firefighters will remain out here for about another hour.
