a little mist and drizzle hitting the golden gate bridge still over the last couple of minutes. we do see a little slick roadway here. southbound 101 is a little flooding reported, a big puddle there. and in that same area, a crash still clearing completely from the roadway. and fog over in livermore. let's get a live look at the camera in dublin. back to you. >> thank you very much, mike. it was a wet weekend in the bay area and before a lot of people were able to dry off, another rond rain gets set to hit the region. hundreds of people spent at least part of the weekend in the dark after trees took down power poles all around the bay. >> it was a very loud boom but no sparks and no fire. >> like dominos they just came

down. >> at one point several hundred people were without their power, phone lines or cable. >> two southbound lanes were closed in sauce lito after a mudslide. and in malibu, mud, rocks and debris came tumbling down leaving about a dozen cars stuck. pch will be closed today. >> wet and windy weather made getting home tricky for

hours. one staff member reported feeling sick after smelling that order. he was treated it for what's described as minor injuries. the fire department closed down a portion of the e.r. a >> san jose leaders are launching what they hope is a final effort to shut down the jungle. about 300 people live in the homeless encampment. they've been warning what's coming for months. today crews will post signs they have 72 hours to move out. city leaders say once bulldozer tear down the encampment, an environmental company will work to restore that area. >> an unusual tradition returning to the south bay today, one that allows certain

people to avoid spending the holidays around bars. it's called second chance. it allows some to receive enough court dates and the program does not, tend o those with felony warrants. >> thend of the road may be near for some bicyclists who like to use sidewalks in san jose. a new measure would ban riding bikes on sidewalks, mostly in areas where there are a high number of pedestrians. if san jose follows through and approves the ban, it wouldn't be alone. san francisco, oakland and all l.a. all have the brains.

good morning, christina. >> good morning. we got a lot of rain overs weekend. some of the most impressive totals came from here in the south bay. when hire builds in, you are get that fog. you're going to find that this morning. you don't really have to deal with it downtown san jose but if you're traveling to southern california this morning, watch out for that. through livermore, we do have some fog showing up here. meanwhile, some showers up in the north bay. let me give you an idea of what to expect as we get into your monday. a lot of people back to work for today and showers continuing on and off throughout the day, all thoe light. heavy rainfall on the way, another round.

we'll show you how much we're expecting and this continues into wednesday and even thursday. >> here's some of that fog you were talking about. we have our eyes on this. there's a glow to the lights. as far as the drive on the roadway itself, distance between you and the car in front of you, you're okay seeing it stopping distance. let's look at your map. the orange you see highlighted across your screen is where you will see roadway fog. the arrow pointing eastbound, an earlier crash is over over on the shoulder. a little slowing coming off of the right side swem out of the altamont for west 80. i'm hearing reports of fog through san ram on on that core dr as well. no slowing through antioch but we'll see a build that starts to kick in tomorrow.
