there was the butt of the gun and drew. two sergeants fired. >> the weapon was a bb gun. >> happening today jury selection begins in the boston marathon bombing trial. dzhokhar tsarnaev is charged also in the murder of a campus police officer. his brother died in a shoot-out with police. that trial is expected to last up to four months. coming up in about 30 minutes, we have a live report from boston outside the courtroom

where jury selection is set to take place. >> two people died on a multi-car crash on an east bay highway. chp says one person died at the scene. a second person died last night at the hospital. two other victims suffered major injuries. the crash closed all lanes of highway 84 for almost four hours. >> in general it's tough to get started on a monday. many people do not look forward to getting back to work. but how about starting with a cold shower? a big fell outside on tuesday at the apartments on minker avenue knocking out water and gas service. the tree was removed but the water cannot be turned back on until the city inspects the work.
