folks passing it to get on the freeway and the dublin interchange to the 5a to castro valley is smoothly. and there is overnight construction schedule d, and yo are down to one lane, but however, the crews are looking like they clear ed up earlier today, so a smooth drive there as well as around the rest of the bay. talking about the commute, we will pick up the live camera coming up. and we do have breaking news this morning. officers shut down a busy stretch of 101 following a police investigation in san jose. stephanie trong live on southbound 101 near the 280 connector the, and what is going on out there, steph? >> well, it is clear now, laura, and that is good news for the morning commuters, but we are here at 101 southbound by story road. this is the stretch down to tully is shutdown for an hour last night after reports of shots fired. we are working to piece it together, but if you can see the video shot around midnight, all of the lanes were shutdown as you can see the officers nine of

them searching across all lanes or something for evidence of what, that is unclear right now. we do know there was some traffic backup as a result, and the pd reports a that there was a pregnant woman that they are searching for he her, and san jose says they were out here for a medical call, but they would not or could not say for what, so we are trying to understand what was exactly happening here, but there was impact to traffic for some time, and the freeway reopened at 1:30 this morning. and we have calls into the san jose p.d. and police and fire. so now the back to you. >> thank you, stephanie. also a developing story in jerusalem. one man in custody after what police say is a terror attack. israeli police say that a man slammed into a crowd of people near a east jerusalem police

station the. they say that the driver got out of his car and threatened people with a knife, and then a security guard shot him. the driver survived, and he is in the hospital this morning. five bystanders were hurt, but none seriously. and this morning, harrison ford's son says s that his son banged up, but he is okay after his vintage aircraft crashed into a golf course. >> requesting emergency landing. engine failure. >> he took off from santa monica airport, and then realized he was in trouble, and crashed. one of the witnesses was a doctor. >> we quickly mobilized his spine and took him to the grass and laid him down the. significant injury to the soft tissue and trying to to make sure he was stable. >> ford had to have injury for a

this man is seen in a wheelchair who attacked mark lipford in the neck and wrist. he is charged with attempted murder. and also, the prime minister of south korea visited the ambassador in the hospital. he needed over 80 stitches. the recommendation in the report covered school safety and mental health and protection of gun violence by the state. it formed a a 16-member panel following the school shooting in newtown, connecticut. crews are working to retrieve the wreckage of a plane that slid off of the runway at laguardia airport. this is the view of massive cranes lifting the the body of the airplane out of the

could hit the retail, and construction and restaurant industries. today, the job numbers are expected to rise, and so is the nasdaq. the wall street says that the system of the iphone itself has not been hacked, but they are using card s ths that they t data breaches. and most of the purchases are for big ticket items at apple stores themselves. your next iphone may be waterproof. they are working to coat the internal parts to make them waterproof to make the phone waterproof rather than the case.
