might have trouble. new legal trouble for the 9 49ers. bruce miller was arrested last tuesday. the arrest comes as the team is in turmoil and the nfl is trying to stay in the national campaign to put an end to violence towards women. >> they got a lot of criticism for letting ray mcdonald play while an investigation was going on. >> we were disappointed to learn of these reports and will do our due diligence in collecting all relevant investigation. 11 members of the 49ers has been arrested since 2012.

in december, police investigated ray mcdonald again, this time for sexual assault. aldon smith has had multiple run ins with the law. he was also detained at l.a. x. for making a bomb threat. >> bruce miller's arrest could mean troubles on the field. the league has not said how they will respond, but if they prove true he could be suspended. frank gore is expected to make his departure official. gore set the 49ers all-time running list. there are rue mothers that he could sign with the colts. either way, gore will not be

it is 4:35 and it will be another year before a criminal trial starts for the deadly san bruno pipeline explosion. it will face a fine up to $1.1 billion if convicted. it killed eight people and levelled an entire neighborhood. >> a woman accused of killing a man in gilroy could be convicted today. the man was found beaten to death in his home last month. police think ortiz is part of a group connecting with people online before robbing them. >> two people accused of robbing residents at a senior home could face two years in prison. 14 residents were left to be

cared for by the janitor and cook. security agents arrested them at the international airport. the attorney general says each faces up to 17 years in prison if convicted. time is running out to get last minute deals from macy's. they will shut their doors this sunday for good. that is about three weeks earlier than originally scheduled. they're closing 14 of their locations throughout the u.s. because of restructuring. >> new legislation will be introduced today requiring warning labels on surgery drinks. the congressman was part of one of the initiatives that failed on the ballot. he says it is important to warn

people just like it is for tobacco. >> the santa clara valley water district will look at their new water rate hike later today. they want to raise rates as much as 30% due to the drought. district officials say with people conserving more during this drought, they're selling less water and losing out on millions of dollars. the san francisco public utilities commission are also talking about similar rate hikes. east bay mud is going after meter cheaters and those that steal water. they have never fined anyone, but with the drought in place, they're talking about fines and criminal penalties. they increased their fine for stealing water from $25 to $150.
