u.s. military officials tell nbc news there appear to be no survivors after a military helicopter crashed off the coast near the florida panhandle. the officials say most of the 11 bodies have been recovered at this time. it happened at egg linear force base. their helicopter crashed between a training exercise between pensacola and destin. it was one of two choppers out on the exercise. the other one made it back with everyone accounted for on it right now. rescue teams found a brief from the uh-60 black helicopter not long ago. weather is suspected as the primary factor. it was dark with heavy fog. we'll keep you updated on this breaking story as more details come in. could it be cruel and unusual punishment or just an alternate execution procedure? utah lawmakers brought back the use of executions by firing squad as long as lethal injections are unavailable at least 30 days before the scheduled execution. the measure passed by a vote of

18-10. according to the "salt lake tribune," senator david hinkins spent just 45 seconds explaining it. no one asked questions or asked to speak. republican governor gary herbert has not said whether he'll sign the measure. there have been three executions by firing squad in the u.s. since 1976. despite hillary clinton's explanation of her use of private e-mails, the controversy surrounding the situation has not died down. clinton insists she followed the rules for keeping public documents but is now revealing she didn't keep thousands of messages she considers private. republicans are calling on her to turn over the server that hosted the e-mails. nbc's tracie potts is live in washington. any chance she'll hand over that server? >> reporter: she certainly didn't give any suggestion or idea that she is willing to do that. she did answer some of the questions that both her supporters and critics had, like

why she was using that personal e-mail address in the first place. hillary clinton just said she thought it would be easier. >> i opted for convenience. >> one phone instead of two. but in hindsight hillary clinton tells reporters she'd separate her personal and work e-mail. >> i thought using one device would be simpler and obviously it hasn't worked out that way. >> reporter: she admits deleting tens of thousands of private e-mails from her server but insists that server is secure. >> it was on property guarded by the secret service, there were no security breaches. >> reporter: the top democrat who urged her to come out publicly is satisfied. >> the important thing is she stepped forward and talked to people. i think people will be reassured listening to it. >> reporter: the state department said again clinton did nothing illegal. >> recommendations. they're not regulations. so it's not the law. >> reporter: republican critics

song. this morning new video of the air disaster in argentina. the two helicopters are seen flying side by side then this the moment of impact. one chopper suddenly served it clipped the other sending both crashing to the ground. in this video people can be seen running toward the wreckage. all ten people on board died including two french olympians. the passengers were taking part in a reality show. as for the helicopters, officials say both were in good condition and both pilots were qualified and experienced. now to iraq and the fight for tikrit. iraqi soldiers took the town without the help of the u.s. coalition. officials believe it's the final push to take tea crete. the town has spent months in the grip of isis. the mission to get it back began

last week. when you're a high profile figure in a dangerous world, threats to your life come with the territory. we know pope francis has been threatened before by isis in particular. now he's talking about it. he told a publication in buenos aries he knows he might be assassinated and he accepts that saying if fanatics want to kill him that's god's will. he says it doesn't hurt because i'm a real wimp when it comes to physical pain. it was the 2013's biggest hit song. now an l.a. jury says "blurred lines" has infringing on copyright, a marvin gaye hit in 1977 called "got to give it up." now gaye's family will be awarded $7.3 million. marvin gaye's daughter spoke after the verdict. >> i'm really just happy. i'm so filled with emotion right now it's hard to get the words

see the little curl right here that's kind of where the storm is right now. as far as the cold front goes it will be pushed slowly onshore by pretty strong west early wind. it's not going to last that long as a front moves onshore. that will be about it. let's watching the timing. as far as the east goes no problems there at all. there were foggy problems earlier today. as far as the west goes the airports, not saying there's going to be too much of an issue. in the northwest and seattle, maybe showery activity. we should be okay in the seattle tacoma airport. we will clear out of the clouds in san francisco for a beautiful 65 latere will see chances of wet weather. dry san francisco southward. eureka and kansas city a slight chance of showers.
