that includes the livermore area out of the altamont pass. 580 will see slowing as will the bay area bridges. so far the north bay you're at speed, novato down through san rafael. back to you >> mike, thank you very much. napa county health officials are warning residents and visitors of an outbreak of hepatitis a. so far, five cases have been reported, three of those involve members much the same family. the other two cases involve employees at two restaurants at the westin vrssa hotel. co-workers and guests may have been exposed to the contagious virus between february the 9th and february 25th and would likely start showing symptoms now. >> so we wanted to be sure that people who might have been served food by one or the other of those individuals during the time that they might have been shedding virus are aware that there's a potential risk. it's a very low risk but we felt it was important for us to let people know. >> one restaurant owner says she's working very closely with the health department to try and locate the source of the infection.

by the end of the month a quiet north bay neighborhood will know if a convicted sex offender will move into their community. frazier smith petitioned the superior court from release from a state hospital and placement to his home on wilada drive in fairfield. he was convicted of raping several teenaged girls and young women in their early 20s. his convictions date back to the 1980s. last night dozens of people packed a town hall meeting to voice their concern. >> this man is in solano college's backyard. there's no fences between where he's going to supposedly be living and the college. all these young girls out there. >> a judge is expected to make a final decision at a hearing on march 27th. the man accused of firing the bullet that killed an oakland mother right in front of her young children will be in court. police arrested 19-year-old anthony simms charging him with

the murder of chamille pierce. simms started shooting and pierce was killed while protecting her kids. the san jose police officer accused of raping a woman while he was on duty will be in court today for a new bail hearing. prosecutors filed additional charges against jeffrey graves, one that could lead to a life sentence. graves is accused of raping a domestic abuse victim at a hotel in 2013. he is also accused of abussing his own ex-girlfriend. graves was out on bail but a judge revoked that bail when prosecutors filed the new charges. >> 4:34 right now. a convicted sex offender is expected back in court today after entering a plea on new charges. carlisle villazon is accused of molesting a little girl inside a 9 cent store last month. he had just been paroled from a walmart crime when the late's tack happened.

a new reward is being offered for help catching an inmate on the loose. investigators are offering $3,000 for help catching john l. carter, he escaped last friday assaulting his guard before an appointment at valley medical center. carter is accused of child molestation. this caused the santa clara sheriff's department to review its inmate security procedures. >> police need your help finding the man who tried to lure a child in his car. officers say this man repeatedly asked a 10-year-old child to get into his car, it happened last friday around 5:00 at a muni bus shelter in cole valley. the man was driving a toyota yris or honda fit. the child went into a nearby restaurant to get away from the man. tomorrow volunteers will embark on their final search for sierra lamar. every weekend volunteers, friends and her family gathered to search for her remains. lamar vanished on her way to

school in 2012. antonin garcia-torres is charged with her murder. coming up at 5:00 we'll talk with the man who led the search for sierra for the past three years and tell you why even though the center is closinger this not giving up hope. lawsuit over a million-dollar lottery ticket headed to court. eva reyes won $1 million with a scratch-off ticket. the owner of the liquor store in milpitas is suing her. the owner claims he fronted the money for reyes to buy the ticket. he says reyes promised to split the winnings 50/50 if she won but she claims she promised a small fraction of the winnings. an off-duty police officer says he was in the right place at the right time when a driver veered off the highway and into a slew. todd de haan lives in fulsom but works in hayward. during his commute wednesday

4:44. to a developing story now, once again people are taking to the streets of ferguson, missouri, this time not only to demonstrate, but also to pray. this comes as they continue to search for the person who shot two police officers. we have the details. ♪ ♪ this little light of mine >> reporter: as they've done many times since the death of michael fwloun august, people took to the streets of ferguson, missouri. this was not a protest. instead, a prayer vigil. >> we're going to continue to

heal. we're going to continue to educate our community at large. we're going to continue to heal and have those tough conversations. >> reporter: the group prayed for the two police officers as they were shot standing outside the police department. one officer shot in the face, the other in the shoulder. both men have been released from the hospital. witnesses say the shots came from about 100 yards away. >> we're lucky by god's grace we didn't lose two officers. >> reporter: the attack was just hours after ferguson police chief tom jackson resigned, the sixth city employee out of a job in the wake of a justice department investigation that revealed widespread racial bias. the missouri state police in st. louis county police have taken over security from the ferguson police department during future demonstrations as they did following the michael brown shooting. after the prayer vigil a few dozen protesters returned to the area across from the ferguson police department. they dispersed as heavy rain moved into the area. it's expected to last into saturday. everyone here is still uneasy,

knowing a gunman who is not afraid to shoot into a crowd is still out there. leaders in ferguson announced an award for at least $13,000 leading to the arrest of that person. back to you. president obama addressed this latest shooting in ferguson during a visit to "gym yip kimmel live." take a listen. >> i think that what had been happening in ferguson was oppressive and objectionable, and was worthy of protests, but there was no excuse for criminal acts, and whoever fired those shots shouldn't detract from the issue. they're criminals. they need to be arrested. >> president also praised the police officers on duty there. he says they have an extraordinarily tough job and an overwhelming majority of them do is professionally. we will continue to follow the story all morning long,

consumer sentiment, the dow dropping 259 points to 17,895, the nasdaq up to 4893. you all have a good weekend. >> you, too, hopefully ending the week on a strong note on the markets. >> wouldn't that be nice. we are on a strong note weather wise, beautiful weather for the weekend. here's meteorologist christina loren. >> yes, it's going to be really nice out there, a little something for everybody in this weekend's forecast. for this morning, temperatures are really mild. we're in the mid-50s just about everywhere generally speaking. mid-40s to mid-50s, in the next couple hours temperatures will continue to drop and today nearly 80 degrees inland. as you break for lunch if you get into your car, park out in the direction of the light, it will already be toasty out there and temperature also jump from the mid-60s at noon into the mid-70s in most spots. look for the upper 70s in the south bay, the north bay, and 79 degrees is the forecasted high out in the tri valley. east shore is at 75 degrees.

as you can see, temperatures nearly uniform, that is definite indication that we've got that offshore flow shaping up. sunny and warm for today. temperatures will stay nice and warm all weekend long, but i can tell you we've got that chance for rain moving in on sunday. so let's talk about that, let me show you your futurecast, time this thing out to your specific microclimate. we stop the clock into the 11:00 a.m. hour, best chance for showers is going to be up in the north bay. 11:00 a.m. is your best chance. then we bring that down about 3:00 in the south bay, not expecting anything heavy but this is a good sign. we need that moisture to keep our hillsides nice and green especially because a lot of st. patrick's day festivities are taking place over the weekend. we'll have your parade forecast coming up. want to show you where we're headed monday and tuesday, temperatures drop like a rock. enjoy the next couple of days if you're someone who appreciates the heat. back to you, sam and kris. >> thank you, christina. police made another arrest in the death of a gilroy man.

officers say gerardo sisnero was already in custody on unrelated charges. he was booked into santa clara county jail on murder charges. police are still looking for a fourth suspect, a 17-year-old girl named isabela chiades. the group is accused of killing robert heiser last month in his own home. the district attorney's office is trying to decide whether or not to file charges against the 49ers bruce miller. police arrested miller last week for misdemeanor spousal abuse. investigators say miller got into a fight with his fiance at rivermark plaza, a popular shopping center and reportedly threw her to the ground and smashed her cell phone. miller was arrested soon thereafter. the 49ers say as of right now they have no plans to suspend or cut miller. moments ago an american health care worker infected with ebola arrived safely in maryland for treatment. the national institutes of health says that the unidentified worker contracted ebola in sierra leone.

the patient was transported to the u.s. by chartered plane. in all, eight americans, including seven health care workers have now been infected with ebola. none have died. >> it's a puzzling situation and a new call now from lawmakers. answers as to why two intoxicated secret service agents were sent home after crashing through a white house barricade. this all unfolded last week. we're now learning that surveillance cameras captured everything. the agents had attended a retirement party and showed up in their car at the white house during a bomb investigation. after the car careened into the barricade, a supervisor let the agents go home and just sleep it off. >> it needs to be said that you can't show up drunk at work especially when you're in the secret service. >> there's absolutely no doubt that heads need to roll. >> the secret service has seen its share of recent controversy. new director joe clancy took over less than a month ago. the house committee now is asking for a briefing by next
