any classified sources, but was likely culled from news reports and social media. the pentagon says it's mostly a scare tactic, a call to murder by isis. the group released a list of u.s. military personnel and asked loyalists in the united states to hunt them down. the list included american troops' home addresses and contact information. defense officials tell nbc news the list does include names of active duty service members, some deployed overseas, some combat pilots. the pentagon is encouraging any one on the list to exercise caution but at this time has apparently made no decision to pull them off duty or provide personal protection. it's insightment and propaganda, overseas isis is going much further. it already has affiliates from afghanistan to west africa and adding new countries, new areas where its militants operate. isis said it launched the gunman

who killed nearly 20 tourists last week. the gun men the group said trained next door in libya. and on friday, isis claimed responsibility for five suicide attacks in yemen killing more than 130 people at shiite mosques. yemen was supposed to be the model for how washington would fight islamic radicals. the president spoke during his super bowl interview. >> we've beenp able to maintain pressure on al qaeda in that region. >> can you do that without a government that's a partner? >> we feel confident we can maintain that pressure. >> reporter: instead yemen is in a state of collapse. the u.s.-backed government there, which used to help washington fight extremists, was driven out of the capitol in february by rebels who are still on the march. over the weekend the government lost another city t third's largest, taiz, to the rebels. >> this war that is playing out, this struggle for power between

the government and the rebels, is creating enormous opportunity for groups like al qaeda and in particular like isis. because you have a struggle for power, with the government battling the rebels trying to regain control of the country, and in this chaos isis is trying to really establish itself. >> which they seem to be good at filling vacuums. richard, thank you very much. >> closer to home robert durst is head back to court in new orleans at a key hearing tied to the weapons charges filed after his arrest for murder. nbc's stephanie gosk is following developments for us this morning. good morning to you. >> reporter: hey, good morning. so robert durls faces what is basically a standard hearing on weapons charges but on friday his lawyer submitted in a bold move a motion arguing that the original arrest warrant for murder was actually illegal. he says that it's based on the hbo documentary and not on probable cause.

when robert durst appears at a bail hearing this morning on weapons charges, his attorneys will demand an immediate preliminary hearing. those charges were filed after police arrested durst at this marriott for the murder of his friend susan berman 15 years ago. in court documents his attorney argues that the california arrest warrant was issued without probable cause, to coincide with the final episode of the hbo drama "the jinx." durst was arrested the night before the final episode aired. evidence found in the new orleans hotel led police to the home of a long time friend in new york state where investigators seized 60 boxes of durst' personal possessions. again, hours before the final episode. >> i think that anybody would be a fool to think it wasn't a connection between the final episode of the series and the arrest of mr. durst. >> reporter: durst's lawyer is concerned what happened once his

client was in custody saying a los angeles prosecutor spent three hours with him before the houston attorney could fly to new orleans. long time new orleans lawyer says durst may be tried in louisiana first, because the d.a. may feel he has a slam dunk case on the lesser weapons charges visits a harder to prove murder charge in california. >> if the robert durst is sentenced to 20 years, 15, even 10, and his physical and mental condition and his age it's essentially a life sentence. >> reporter: equates the case to the al capone case. ended up pinning him on tax evasion. in the end that's what these weapon charges basically amount to. but on durst's part says he's not guilty. >> thank you so much. >> natalie on assignment. we're going to check in with her in a while. sheinelle is here with other stories.

including a frightening scene in florida. >> a helicopter crashed into an orlando home killing the pilot ng the pilot but no one on the ground was hurt. faa and ntsb officials will be on site this morning to try to figure out what went wrong. >> the impact was a solid boom, and then dead sigh lens. >> the terrifying sound of a helicopter crashing into a house jolted a peaceful upscale neighborhood in orlando sunday afternoon. the pilot is presumed dead but no one else was injured. a spokesperson with the faa says the chopper took off from the executive airport around 2:30 and flew about two miles. >> the helicopter is reported that the pilot is still inside. >> orlando copy. >> neighbor don carr says that as war veteran he immediately recognized the sound of a helicopter in trouble. >> this is a very slow whop, whop, whop. followed with a boom and then everything went dark.

>> police say the helicopter hit a two-story garage apartment, the guest house of the property which was empty at the time. unknown number of residents were in the main part of the house. >> we don't know what caused the accident. we know that the helicopter didgo inside the guest house. >> the destination of the helicopter's flight and the identity were not released. it's unclear if the any one else was on board at the time. today police will release the results of an investigation into an alleged sexual assault at the university of virginia reported in "rolling stone" magazine last fall. gabe gutierrez is in charlottesville with the latest. good morning. >> reporter: good morning. police have remained tight-lipped about this investigation. these allegations rocked the uva campus in november. that's when "rolling stone" magazine published a lengthy article about a woman the writer called jackie, she claimed she was gang raped by seven men at a fraternity house here on campus.

the university suspended all fraternity activities at the time. and the incident sparked protests at uva and also a national conversation about sexual assault on college campuses. within weeks, several major details of the story were discredited, the magazine admitted it never contacted the man who allegedly orchestrated the attack. the magazine apologized to readers, promised a full investigation and said that part of its trust in jackie had been misplaced. questions persisted how much of that story was true and today police are expected to shed light on that. >> gabe, thank you. federal regular laters investigate complaints this morning that two nissan recalls didn't fix a problem with front seat air bag sensors. the recalls involved nearly a million vehicles. they were initiated because of problems with computer software, air bags won't inflate if the

software doesn't register an adult in the seat. 124 complaints from people who say the problem exists. nissan insists the proper repairs were made. a special delivery for pope francis. it happened in italy as the pope mobile and the motorcade made its way through town. a hand delivered pizza to the pope who accepted. the special pie was in the colors of the vatican, white and yellow, and made with yellow cherry tomatoes and mozzarella. you remember he mentioned previously he wanted a day he could go to a pizzeria and not be recognized. he had one placed in his hands. >> the owner lived up to the promise getting it to him within 30 minutes. >> there you go. >> thanks. >> how's the forecast looking? >> well, if you're in chicago not so good. unfortunately, we're looking at a clipper coming across, an efficient system producing a lot of snow with not a lot of moisture, madison, rockford,

campaign at an event at liberty university. investigators are trying to figure out what caused a tragic helicopter crash in orlando. it hit a two-story garage apartment, killing the pilot and sparking a fire. officials say no one was inside that building luckily, at the time of the crash. and we're learning more about this scary incident at a ski resort in maine. at least seven is skiers were injured jumping off a list that started going backwards for some reason. a preliminary investigation suggests a gearbox malfunction, and that led to failure of the brake system. let's begin with the search for a suspect in what police are calling a disturbing case of road rage. a houston woman shot in the head as she drove down the highway. here's nbc's janet shamlian. >> reporter: kay hafford is back home after a close call. the bullet holes in her window indicating how lucky she is to be alive. it started as a routine drive to

work north of houston that suddenly went very wrong. >> basically, what developed into a road rage situation. >> reporter: she told police she was merging on to interstate 45 when a man in a white suv cut her off. she honked her horn apparently angering him. she says he started taunting her, pulling around to the passenger side and firing one shot which hit her in the back of the head. >> the victim was coherent enough to be able to steer her vehicle after the interstate 45 freeway. she called 911 she was incoherent because she was in and out of consciousness. >> reporter: with bullet fragments lodged in her brain, she was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. >> if i ever find out or get wind of who it is it's not going to be nice. >> reporter: according to aaa, so-called aggressive driving incidents have increased by about 7% each year since 1990. the advice from authorities, just don't engage. >> if you can you know exit and get away from them do that. and by all means, if you are in

critics have blamed cruz for leading a conservative revolt that led to the 2013 government shutdown. he's kicking off his campaign in virginia. a sudden development in the fight against isis. extremists have posted a hit list of 100 american military personnel online. the list includes names, photos and addresses of people who have fought the group overseas. isis is urging supporters in the west to go after them. the names on the list have been gathered for news articles. in california one person is dead and another injured after a cliff collapsed along a popular hiking trail. authorities say the two people were standing on a lookout point inside the park saturday night when the bluff gave way. the pair fell about 70 feet and were covered in rocks and debris. the national park service had posted danger signs at the site two days earlier. rescuers are working today to save four whales that stranded themselves against a rocky breakwater on australia's west coast.

at least a dozen whales have already died. whale beachings are relatively common in australia but experts don't know why it happens. a driverless car is on its way from san francisco for a cross-country trip to new york. the ten-day, 3500 mile trip, will be the first and longest drive by an automated vehicle. the car is designed to navigate roads without a human hand on the steering wheel. however, there will be a person in the driver's seat at all times, just in case. photos of a kentucky woman have gone viral after she finished a 10k race in louisville over the weekend in last place. that's because she was determined not to give up. ford has worked hard to lose more than 200 pounds. but with a mile to go she started having trouble breathing. that's when police officer aubrey gregory showed up to help ford crossed the finish line with gregory, her son, holding hands. the time now 18:04. let's get another check of the weather from al. >> today's weather is brought to

going to file in the next day and go oh that's not how we wanted it to end. are you nervous about that? no? >> always. about every episode. >> yeah? do you think you have done justice to each of these characters in their final episode? >> i hope so. i mean we followed the story. you know every show has its own ending and we followed the story and the writers and myself we tried to find the right thing for the characters. that's what drove it so there's no device you know. there's no big secret that has to be revealed or anything. so it's sort of the end of the story. >> a couple random samplings. john are you happy with the way it ends for your character? >> i am. i was surprised when i read it. and -- but i think matthew did what's most difficult, is to be surprising and then after you read it you think, well that's -- made sense. it seems inevitable that's the way it would have turned out. >> ladies what about you? happy with the way it ended for your characters? >> i was really happy. i was surprised, but also --

>> how did you manage to surprise all these people? >> every week. episode. >> i don't know. >> he wasn't surprised, because i told him like four years ago. >> really? >> i don't know if he was surprised when i told him. >> i just thought that turning don into a zombie was a weird choice. i mean i thought, yeah it's a thing. he was ahead of the curve. but i was still -- what? >> and inevitable. >> you were on a plane not long ago. he shared everything with me. he told me the entire story. >> i thought that plane was going down, man. i had to get it off my chest. i had to unload. you're welcome. >> this day and age, everything leaks? on social media, you can find out just about anything? how have you managed to keep this a secret? >> not a lot of us are active kind of social mediaites. there is a few instagramers and tweeters but not very -- you

know for the modern world, we're pretty luddite in that sense. so i guess that's how. >> we were never a part of that. our show was around before all of that became crazy. it's been easy to stay out of it. >> with all these seven seasons, eight years, the critical acclaim, is it -- is this a little like a gymnastics routine? does it all come down to sticking the landing at the end? >> i hope not. i mean, i watch tv. you know there's 92 hours of it. i would hate for one hour to undo that. but that is you know your worst nightmare. i don't know. i mean it's so organically related. the show is not that kind of show that has, like super -- i don't want to say it's not dramatic but it doesn't have super, you know -- we have never changed the style of the show. and i think because it happens on a human scale and it's related to people's real lives, they should expect the story to be in that vein. >> who has an anecdote going

back to the beginning of when you knew the show had become a big deal? was there anything that happened to any of you? you went wow, this thing is off and running? >> i -- for me i remember -- well between season 1 and 2, we were shooting -- you know we were there at l.a. center studios, which is not a big studio and we were just kind of grinding it out, and the show aired, and was very well received critically. but i think the difference between season 1 and season 2 when people were dvring the show and you could all of a sudden save a show and hear about it and go back to the beginning, there was a big jump i think, between those two seasons, for me anyway. >> suffice it to say, the beginning of this was don draper's story. the world was -- >> in a halloween costume. i predicted this. i said if we see a man dressed as joan at halloween, we made it. >> and that was me. yeah.

>> actually rich actually dressed as joan. >> did he? >> did he? >> the don story to begin. but it seems to me that peggy, while she started off as a secretary, perfect for the times, she became in some ways the heart of the show. did it also become peggy's story? >> i don't know. i mean that's very difficult for me to answer obviously. i've always -- this is very much don's story. and then the rest of us you know. it's hard for me to say. i mean i've been very grateful for everything i've gotten to do on the show. i think she is sort of the face of feminism in the workplace on the show which is a big story in the '60s. >> i've always said it's not a mistake that the series starts on peggy's first day at work. i think it is very much these parallel lines that are running through this very particular place in this very particular

time and these two parallel tracks on how people get ahead in that time. >> this next group of questions, let's just answer by pointing -- you guys point at the appropriate cast member okay? >> oh-oh. >> member of the cast who had the most fun while shooting over the past seven seasons. >> most fun? >> nobody had fun? >> i think maybe we all had fun. >> i had a lot of fun. >> member of the cast who blew the most lines over the past seven seasons. >> that's probably me. >> you're like the last person. >> i never once blew a line. >> everybody behind your back is doing that. >> member of the cast who had the most pieces of their wardrobe mysteriously disappear. >> we weren't allowed to do that. >> we had to wear them all of the time. >> i took a blue coat home once and then i had to bring it back.

a good monday morning. it's 8:26. i'm sam brock. new details right now on a deadly north bay trail collapse. this happened saturday at point reyes national seashore. authorities this morning have identified the hiker who died in that collapse. it's 58-year-old nancy bloom of san francisco. bloom and another hiker plunged roughly 70 feet and were buried in rubble. the other hiker remains hospitalized this morning in santa rosa. warnings were posted about a crack in the trail, but authorities say the two victims kept hiking on the side that eventually gave way. if you're just leaving the house right now, trying to find out what your commute looks like, mike joins us now. you've been tracking slow patches on 580. >> yeah, the tri-valley has been a tough drive. it's sorting itself out now. the south bay also looking

toretteoe toretto. it's also a place that plays a significant role in the franchise. a place where the group comes together to barbecue and give thanks for all they have. and the cast considers themselves much more than co stars. they consider themselves very much a family and all suffered a huge loss when a member of their family paul walker died while making the movie. >> obviously, it's got to be really difficult time to be doing the press tour and promoting a film at the same time. you're also dealing and talking about the loss of your friend paul walker. >> i want to talk about paul. i want to celebrate his life. i want to talk about how amazing he was. i want to talk about how much we bonded over being dads about our daughters. as hard as it is it was our opportunity to come together and create something special. number one, for his family. number two, in his honor. number three, for the fans. >> jordana, you, of course play his wife.

and had such close connection to him throughout the film. how did you process and deal with the grief that you were feeling? >> i don't think there's -- i'm still sort of processing it. and i don't think it's something any of us will ever get over. he was the most wonderful, light, beautiful spirit ever. and he'll be forever missed. >> i loved that boy so much. i just can't talk without cracking you know. sorry. >> you know i presented the first movie -- the first screening in california just a week ago, and i was talking about the movie, and i saw a picture of paul and i was affected a little bit and started to get choked up a little bit. and someone in the audience yelled you've got family here vin. and i thought, that's so powerful. and that's such a testament to what we do and what we bring to

the table and i think the world just appreciates that kind of brotherhood and that kind of camaraderie and that kind of family that they see only in this franchise. and when it goes off the screen it's really special. >> but i don't think they understand how much pressure their love puts us under. because pressure can either bust pipes or make diamonds. and we have decided to try our best to allow for the pressure to create diamonds. >> you shouldn't come into this with a heavy heart. everyone's first instinct is to be sad and bound. but this is the same "fast & furious" we're all used to but it's bigger and busier. >> as paul would say, you've got to promote, dog. >> it's seeing the ending of the film without giving it away obviously, or giving too much of the plot line away. how do you feel that it really honored him? >> oh man. i don't think there was any better way to honor him. it was such -- it was graceful it was classy it was elegant, it was everything that it needed

to be. and i think -- i don't think there's one person that's going to disagree with that when they see the ending of this film. and i'm just extremely happy of the way it was creatively done. >> we all knew that it was our job to leave the legacy for someone we loved and someone the world loved. and that's why the ending is as precious as it is. >> vin, do you want to lead us in a toast as you do as the sort of father figure of this family? >> i'm just happy that i've got a team like the team we've got here and without this team none of this would have happened. i love all of you. i'm just grateful. >> hear hear! >> to family. >> to family. >> well it should be pointed out that before paul walker died, he had completed 85% of the film and once vin diesel and the rest of the cast got the blessing of walker's family they felt they needed to go on

first time. how do i look? >> honestly? >> if this relationship is going to go the distance mary i think we should be honest with one another. >> okay. well you look slightly ridiculous. >> nah. i look sharp. >> al pacino welcome back. how are you? >> hi. well thank you. >> it's been a while. i'm glad to see you here. how do you like the sound of that rock star? >> i've always wanted to play a -- someone who can sing and dance. and even though i can't -- >> that's a good question. when they came to you about this role did they say to you, al can you sing? >> no actually. they assumed. by being italian and all, i guess that most -- no. this guy, dan foley, who wrote and directed was so keen on my playing the role. he's just wonderful, by the way. he's a wonderful person.

he wrote "crazy stupid love" and he just saw me in the role. and i think when a director sees you in a part even though you might not feel that way -- i felt that way about "godfather". when francis copala wanted me i thought he's wrong. but he so wanted me. and made it possible for -- the studios didn't want me at the time at all. >> for "godfather"? >> yeah well i was unknown at the time. but he fought for me. it was part of his vision. all of the characters. don, jimmy khan, sonny, robert duvall. it was all his vision. and so this guy has me as a rock star and it's who he saw in his head. >> were you nervous to get out? you've done everything in acting. and you can take on any role. but to sing on camera is the whole different animal. >> i know it is.

>> were you nervous? >> well i was nervous. i had good support. like dan knew people. musical people who worked with me. and i did a thing with "chicago" at the -- >> greek theatre. >> greek theatre. >> were you there? thank you, mark. so we were at the greek theatre, and there "chicago" was playing, and dan folderman arranged during intermission i would come on as danny collins, the character in the movie, and he would introduce me. and they were so good about it because they said we have an actor here working on his role. >> unknown guy. >> unknown. and he says if you would stick around it's al pacino playing danny collins. and i went out there with thousands and thousands of people and the chicago band behind me and i sang this song.

i was so glad i had the character to play. because if i just came on without any character -- >> jennifer garner was here a couple days ago, my little birdie and she tells me this song "hey baby doll," you sang everywhere you went on the set. >> i had to. >> were you just trying to stay in character or drive people crazy? >> no i just knew that i would -- i had my little son at the time tell me -- i would say, antoine, how does it go again? and he would say " ♪ hey baby ♪ and he would get the right note. and i would lose the -- what is it the notes, or music of it. and just lose it. so i would sing it as much as i could. because there's nothing in the world like singing a song and forgetting it while you're singing it. forgetting the lyrics. >> you mentioned you've got a young son. how old? >> now he's 14. >> 14 years old.

this may sound like a weird question to ask you. but does he understand what a big deal you are you? >> well i try to keep him out of it. but i think -- you know he's starting to get it a little bit, when he sees the crowds. no he does sort of understand i'm famous. it's there only when it's there, you know. it's only when it's up. but -- do your children understand? >> try to keep a line between the two, but i have a feeling you're someone when he gets a little older he's going to be so proud of his dad. >> oh gee, wow. i hope so. i feel very great about him. he's really special. so is my daughter -- my daughters. >> life is good. >> life seems to be. i'm still standing here as they say. we're sitting here. >> keep doing it all right? this one is called "danny collins." don't make it ten years between the next visit, all right? >> well okay. i'll just come by. it's very friendly here. >> come by any time. danny collins is playing now in

we are back with something new in today's kitchen, week night wonders. all this week we are featuring healthy meals you can whip up in 35 minutes or less. all you need is giada de laurentiis in your kitchen. talented "today" contributor. the gang is downstairs. all they have to do is eat. >> all right. >> so commence eating gang while we teach how to make this. >> they're going to warn you about it. we start with kale pesto. have you ever made a pesto? >> no i have not. >> do you like pesto? >> i love pesto. >> traditionally, it's made with basil and parsley. we're going to change it up and

use baby kale. this is the difference. this is what baby kale looks like you can touch it. >> yes. get to know it. >> this is regular kale. >> that's that chewy kind. >> this don't use, because it's just too tough. the baby kale is great. we use some walnuts. quarter cup of walnuts. hold on hold on. one garlic clove. >> just dump it in there? >> dump it in there. i'm telling you, you can do this. orange juice and orange zest is the key to bringing it to life. orange juice, and i just use regular -- buy an orange. >> orange juice, orange zest. >> yes, the zest of the orange. and remember zest the orange before you juice it. once you cut the orange then it's -- >> i'm going to pretend i understood that. >> kale. >> throw it in there. >> you can find this at the grocery store these days usually either in bulk -- >> what's the other kind rubbery kind called regular kale? >> yes. lots of different kale -- but this is the best kind. and i found that for jade because kale is not something

that kids really like to eat, this is a great way to incorporate greens into their diet. >> smart. >> yes! so we are going to put the lid on. actually i'm going to put some salt and red pepper flakes. i just put a tiny bit. not spicy, but brings out the flavor. >> all right. okay. >> okay. press start. >> i'm going to teach -- >> it's not on. there we go. >> break it all up. this is how it's broken up. now you stop it. now you take the lid off. you want to add the olive oil later. >> a dash? >> no two-thirds of a cup. >> oh wow. >> ready? >> how do you know? >> there you go. you can measure it out for yourself. i know because i've done a lot of pesto. measure everything out and you're good to go. >>. >> am i still going? >> you want to make sure it comes together. see? >> okay. >> done. there we go. we take this off. and we're going to dump a cup of parmesan cheese.

>> let me ask this. why do you have to do it piece by piece? >> well the olive oil you want to add as it's combining, and the parmesan cheese heats up with the blade. and this you don't want to change the texture. it can get rubbery. you could do it that way. and the flavor might be different. >> trying to learn. >> >> okay done. so -- forget it. come over here. >> this is what it looks like. now, you can make this in advance, even the day before if you like. then the whole trick to making a dinner in 35 minutes is start with the pasta, because that's what takes the longest to cook. so they say usually eight to ten minutes for the pasta. so in those eight to ten minutes, you could do that. >> any rhyme or reason why you choose this particular pasta? >> yes, the whole idea you'll find very soon when your daughter starts to eat food kids like pasta, but different shapes. these are known as gimelli, in italian means twins. and two twins hug together. i like to tell stories, because it helps make it interesting for

she is having coffee, and she is having leche. we told her, grammy is coming and it was too early. we totally over -- she over anticipated it. so every time the dinger would ring, grammy! and then it wasn't. and then melt. there was some tantrums happening. >> and then -- >> what did you do? >> let's get to natalie first. natalie had perhaps a pretty terrific weekend, i would say. #vindiesel, spilling the name of his child exclusively. >> sweet story. >> yeah, that was just such a touching moment. i had a chance to obviously sit down with the entire cast. you're going to see that coming up in just a little bit. a little bit more of that interview i did earlier. i did get a chance to fly over the skies of l.a. with vin diesel. we had a little one-on-one. and he got very personal. while the movie is being premiered, we're already starting to see some early

screenings. he did say that during that time, his partner was having their child. so he actually left one of the screenings early to go be with his partner, and just a week and a half ago, he had a little baby girl, his fourth child. and he told me that he named his daughter pauline, after, of course, his very close friend paul walker, who died while making the film. and it was such a close personal friend, soul mate, brother. so he said he felt like paul was in the room. he said his mother even felt it. and he said while i was cutting that umbilical cord there was, you know, no one else that i wanted to carry on with his name. and i wanted to make sure that paul was always in my life and in my heart. and by naming his daughter, pauline, he now continues with his legacy with her beautiful name. guys? >> sweet. >> sweet story. >> really is. >> and you could tell natalie

while others may keep trying nobunny knows easter better than cadbury. a good monday morning. it's 9:26. i'm sam brock. now details this morning about a deadly trail collapse. authorities this morning have i.d.ed the hike who died. she's 58-year-old nancy bloom of san francisco. bloom and another hiker plunged nearly 50 feet and were buried in the rubble. the other hiker remains in the hospital. authorities say the two strik tims kept hiking on the side that eventually gave way. mane time santa clara police say a robbery suspect shot and killed by officers yesterday morning shot at a store clerk first and then did not follow police orders. this all happened outside of a 7-eleven on scott boulevard. the clerk was not injured.

officers happened to drive up just as the suspect was leaving the store around 2:00 a.m. it was the last of three bay area police-involved shootings over an eight-hour span this weekend. and the casting crew of the popular "game of thrones" tv show series will be celebrating the season five premiere tonight in the bay area. hbo is hosting the red carpet gala at san francisco's war memorial opera house. the network will stream live video of the arrivals on facebook. for everybody else "game of thrones" will premiere on hbo april the 12th. a look at where are weather and traffic after the break.

the story of the characters and people they've sat with for the better part of a decade in their living room. it's bittersweet. you know, we finished shooting in july, and so we've kind of been sitting with it for a while. but yeah, it's very exciting to get to share it. >> was it an emotional ending for you guys on the set? >> a big fight. >> what was it like? >> long time resentments bubbling up. it was sad. i mean, you know it was kind of a parade of last days of various people had their last day and then there was the final day of shooting. it was sad. i knew it would be and it kind of hit me. i was still surprised by how emotional it got. >> we hear there were tears from pretty much everybody. was it exhaustion, relief or what? >> again, from the fistfights. a lot of face shots. >> had to be some relief to get

out of the corsets and the bras. i still wear those underwear. they were comfortable. were you kind of excited for a new venture around the corner? >> no. no. >> no. >> yeah, it really is hard to say good-bye. >> was such a charmed experience in so many ways. we have kind of what happens with an underdog situation. we're kind of close tore each other in a weird way. we never knew if we would go beyond the pilot. we didn't expect it to go this long and you definitely want to get off the air before people say is this still on? but it was such a great work experience and people would go off during the breaks and come back to it like they're home. >> there's such a high expectation for the finale of anything. did you guys like how your charactered wrapped up at the end?

>> did you love the fashions of that era? did you find yourself transforming into your character because you had on the right -- >> that has to help. >> it definitely helps a lot. weirdly it felt like my work clothes. there was obviously so much focus on the fashion because it was so beautiful and unusual for if everyone else. for me it was just what i wore to work. >> a little souvenir, who took what? >> i took everything. >> i took things from joan's apartment like serving tray and a picture and at the end anything that wasn't glued down. >> jon, how about you? >> i took my girdle. no, i took a desk lamp from my office with permission, right? >> yeah. >> the smithsonian is going to get -- >> some of the stuff, yeah. i also took jon's girdle.
