"today in the bay's" kris sanchez joining us live from san jose police headquarters with who police are looking for right now, kris, including the chilling video of that attack. >> reporter: we can start with telling you that 13-year-old girl is a very brave girl because not only did she fight off that attacker she is also willing to talk about the story because she wants to do anything she can to make sure this suspect is taken into custody. that man followed her home from
5:01 am
school on tuesday on cinco de mayo. followed her into her family home, forced his way in. he probably did not know at that point that the family's surveillance cameras were rolling. the family's home is on rio vista avenue in san jose. they also have surveillance pictures of what appears to be the same suspect on saratoga avenue where a woman in her 20s told police that the same suspect followed her into the bathroom and tried to sexually assault her there. san jose police say this is a case perfect for a social media. they have images of that suspect and a plea from that 13-year-old victim. now, though she wanted to tell us her story with her parents' permission we are protecting her identity. >> i had to face this guy and i'm thinking, help me, help me, please. that was the only thing going through my mind. >> nothing is going to stop him. you know, he's got the conti dense to do it once. he had the confidence to do it again. he's going to strike again. and again, what we want to do is prevent that third attack.
5:02 am
we can simply do that if people mobilize. >> san jose police say that between their work and social media impact, they should be able to track that suspect down within 48 hours, which would be a very good thing, the officer says, because each of those attacks has been bolder. the suspect is described as around 30 years old, average height, thin build with a beard. you can see the pictures there. that 13-year-old girl told us that after forcing his way into the family home she thinks he was trying to record the whole attack on his own cellphone. if you want another look at that suspect or if you want to disseminate that picture via social media find it on our website and all on all of our social media sites as well. in san jose, kris sanchez, "today in the bay." >> we'll help try to send that photo out. talk about a painful prank. someone is going around palo alto shooting paint balls at random peep ople on the street.

4er 40s walking her dog along the 700 block of melville, hitting her in the hand, the arm, and the chest. they hit another woman in her 40s also off a walk with her husband in the hand. both women say the color was -- the car was a gold colored sedan with a rounded body type, about 15 years old. they also heard a man cheering from the car after he hit his targets. all three people were hurt but they're going to be okay. the worse case is that they were bruised. police say that charge for this kind of crime would be misdemeanor battery. felony assault with a deadly weapon if someone were hit in the eye. >> such a danger there, old people tar it ged. thank you, bob. the two men who beat giants fan brian stow into a coma are goring to sentenced to even more time behind bars. louie sanchez and marvin nor ward pleaded guilty to one count each of being a felon in possession of firearms and ammunition. in court today they each face up to ten additional years in

he then walks out. looks around the street again before he takes a rock out of his pocket and throws it at the door. nothing breaks so he picks up the rock again. looks around again before throwing the rock at the door. at that point he goesnd starts to kick it in. it's three times until it finally gives way. he ducks under with a duffel bag and you can see in the video that he's messing with the top right corner with necklaces and jewelry. he's in and out in 40 seconds and grabs a tray full of rings before making his exit. we want to show you one more time the still images of the man. this again was 3:30 in the morning, april 21st. 200 block of westportal avenue. the man making off with about $3,000 worth of stolen goods. san francisco police hoping that this will help lead to this man and saying also that there has been an uptick of burglaries in this westportal neighborhood. live in san francisco, stephanie chuang, "today in the bay." 5:06.
