views. this southbound tunnel heading into san francisco from the gold en gate bridge. doyle drive is part of the $1.1 billion project to transform the bridge. crews working forecast and safely to finish the roadways before this morning's commute. >> even with the congestion through the weekend without one single accident or one single incident. >> 350 people working nonstop for 71 hours straight. that started late thursday night. drivers seemed to listen to warnings and delays fairly minimal. southbound took an hour to get into the city, much better than expected. there is a ribbon cutting set for today this morning.

this is supposed to be done next year with landscaping left. stephanie chuang, today in the bay. a different story for commuters in the south bay. vta train service will not reopen until sunday. the closure runs from the mountain view station to visitman. a bus bridge gets drivers through the area but should be prepared for delays. this is all to add a second light rail track to that area. happening now, 911 is not working for thousands of people in the north bay. there is a problem with the system. the napa county sheriff warns people to call a different area. call 707-253-0911 to report emergencies. no word when 911 is back up and

running. santa clara's largest union is set to vote on a new contract next week. if they vote no, garbage workers may go on strike. some union members rejected the deal on friday. they may take another vote because some didn't understand new terms offered. county leaders say if the deal is rejected again they are willing to continue their investigations. a three-alarm fire in san jose yesterday started shortly after 4:00 on snow drive. once neighbors noticed the flames, they quickly evacuated. >> we have people living with us. we told everyone to get out. we got our animals out and they started hosing down the house. >> american red cross volunteers
