on the desk. 625,000 prius hybrids are being recalled, because of a software glitch. good morning, landon. >> good morning. the markets will try to make it five straight days of gains today. also on the watch list is manufacturing data as well as earnings from bank of america, and janet yellen is testifying before congress this morning. the nasdaq is up 33 to 5108. toyota is recalling 625,000 prius hybrids worldwide with 120,000 of those in north america, a software glitch could cause the system to drive off while driving. there are no reports of crashes or injuries.

sell to skeptical lawmakers looking at the iran nuclear deal. he plans to discuss it as a new conversation later today. one of the president's top priorities is xwinsing lawmakers, world leaders and the american public that it is deal is in the cub's best interest. in exchange for the lift of of economy sanctions, iran will scale back its nuclear deal. he says the deal is not on trust, but on verification. iran is also making its own push to lawmakers, some of whom remain skeptical. >> it's high time for people in the united states to start looking at iran without those tainted glasses. >> if in fact it's as bad a deal as we think its, we'll do everything we can to stop it. >> but can they? if lawmakers shoot it down, president obama is already vowing to use his veto pewer.

dolores, check out this storm off the western coast of mexico. it's a category 4 with wind speeds of 130 miles an hour. this storm is expected to weaken into the next couple of days, but then by sunday, may have a u.s. impact with some of that moisture being drawn into the southwest. into the day on friday, high pressure moving in and highs reaches into the 90s, mild near the keyes, with those 90s we'll be watching for the heat to come, with the tropical clouds sunday into monday, but femmewise, it will be more comfortable than beal see today, tomorrow, as well as friday, saturday and sunday, temperatures will be more seasonable, especially on sunday. sam, kris?

china outwitted a man trying to a quick-thinking bus driver outwitted a man. >> a man armed with a knife boarded the bus, and the driver used an emergency button to alert police. she then got the hijacker to agree to let the passengers go off the bus, as they were getting off of it, police got on. the bus driver blasted the hijacker with an extinguisher, giving police a chance to make that arrest. that's why you have emergency buttons, specifically spoke a
