right now investigators are looking for a motive after a shooter killed four marines and injured seven overs in chattanooga, tennessee. it's unclear will police killed him or he killed himself. and dave, what more do you know about what investigators are calling an act of domestic terrorism? >> reporter: well, good morning to you, alex. this is still an active crime scene. this is the scene of the second shooting behind me here. a sad morning for chattanooga. investigators are asking, was it an act of terrorism? barricades and bone -- bouquets

tell part of the story. >> our hearts are breaking for the families of these marines tonight. >> reporter: today investigators are trying to determine why. they say he opened fire with at least 25 round on an armed forces recruiting center. >> we actually didn't escape through the active shooter drills. >> reporter: he then drove seven miles to a marine center where he gunned down four marines. abdulazeez is among the dead. he was a naturalized u.s. citizen, born in kuwait but lived in the u.s. for many years. >> we're checking every possible place he could reside or could have resided. >> reporter: while a motive is unclear, president obama is calling for a nation to come together.

texas state police were changing lanes without signaling. this video shot by a bystander shows her arrest but not the moments leading up to it. officials say bland was argumentative and uncooperative and charged with assault on a public servant. but three days later the 28-year-old was dead in her jail cell. officials say she hanged herself but bland's family doesn't believe it. at least two people killed and more than 30 injured as typhoon nangka slammed into japan. it barrels across japan's main island. nearly 40,000 people advised to leave their home as a result of that storm. let's get a look at the weather at home. . you'll never guess where the rainiest spot on saturday might be. >> where? >> the deserts of arizona.

hurricane delores didn't really bring moisture per se all the way up into the desert southwest, but a little piece of monsoonal moisture kind of associated with it. this will knock the denvertemperatures down and bring us a little bit of a flooding threat especially on saturday. a flash flood watch has been issued. how much rain? it's convectively driven so it's hard to pinpoint. anyone that gets caught in those storms could pick up a quick two to three inches of rain and that could lead to flash flooding. the forecast for today, still warm in phoenix, probably the warmest day you'll have in a couple. there's the storms in arizona on saturday. by sunday we'll still include a chance of showers andle though.
