hunter pence hit an opposite field home run to tie it up. it's been raining outside and a few spots inside find out there are some leaks in the roof here. >> duane: by the way, nine-inning game. this is a four-hour nine inning game. we're about to extend that. a lot of pitching changes and a lot of pitches thrown in the game. >> jon: here first of three consecutive left-handed hitters due up against ziegler. it's a called strike to brandon crawford who had an rbi double twice struck out and flied out to right center last time. he's 1 for 4. ziegler always great at getting righties out but this year he'd been getting lefties out as well. change-up. 77 miles an hour off the outside. >> duane: one guy in this inning that's got ownage up of

in for the giants but because of the four days off, the giants have starting pitchers and namely ryan vogelsong has had several days off. more than his usual period of time between starts because vogelsong, who normally had been due up on monday for his start, they've already announced that tim hudson's going to make the start, return to the rotation for the disabled list and vogelsong's going to go to the pen. there's a called strike to jake lamb. from casilla. casilla, normally the guy that comes in to save a win in a close game at the end, now trying to save the tie. get the giants to the 11th inning. lamb is 1 for 4, three strikeouts in this game. brandon belt one out.

now castillo will come up. outstanding season. the last, what five, six, seven appearances before the all-star break, he went into a bit of a slump. he had stiffness in his arm, whatever it united states, didn't feel quite right, didn't have the same kind of stuff didn't have the same zip in his fastball fastball. castillo did appear, and he got the save against the phillies last sunday but gave up a run in that game. came in with a three-run lead. throws a called strike to castillo, 1 for 4 hit a double and scored a run against machi back in the sixth inning. matt cain started for the giants gave up for, machi gave up a run in the sixth. bull pen has been on shutdown mode ever since.
