his name is khazzani, he is 26 years old. this morning he is being questioned be french counter terrorism agents. nbc news has not confirmed the reports, and the french interior minister cautioned against speculation. this morning the three friends on the european vacation took such a dramatic turn are together again in paris. they're getting a heros treatment and preparing to meet the french president. this is the scene seconds after they took down a gunman. san antonio who is a trained paramedic is giving first hearing aid to a man shot even with his own hand badly cut.

of rain into puerto rico. out in the pacific, we have a tropical storm, kilo, that will do the reverse of what danny did. it will strengthen very rapidly, and take a turn up to the northeast. watch what happens as a category two on thursday evening, it turns towards hawaii. this one will bare watching. we have flash flood watches in effect because of those downpours. we could see some impact from can kilo as go into the end of this week. >> thank you, to politics now where there is a lot of buzz this morning about a secret private meeting between vice president joe biden and senator elizabeth warren this weekend. is this another sign that biden may be close to making a run for president? chuck todd, good morning to you. we know the vice president has been privately courting some

the memorial at kaiser permanente arena. the service starts at 3:00 p.m. from coast to coast, people gathered on sidewalks and parking lots to protest planned parenthood. holding signs, calling for change, demonstrators gathered outside new york city, washington, d.c., columbus, and here in san jose. the protests came after video surfaced showing planned parenthood employees negotiating prices for tissue of aborted fetuses. protesters outside a clinic in san jose are calling for an end to federal funding for planned parenthood clinics. >> every year the government gives planned parenthood a half billion, that's from our taxes that you and i pay that go towards these services of basically selling the organs of the babies. >> planned parenthood released a statement saying patients authorize them to donate tissue to scientific research and every

this morning on "sundays with harry" summer, of course, is full of rituals. usually the family trips include several stops along the way for ice cream. harry smith to tell us about his new favorite. >> one of my new favorites. we recently went to moorhead, minnesota. we hold the truth to be self-evident. man, do we love ice cream! a drippy cone on a summer's day.
