he was activating the wipers when he hit the group. two of the children, girls, ages 5 and 7, were airlifted from the scene. the other child and the adult staid on the scene, not badly hurt. and more breaking news. three employees at the santa clara county jail have been arrested in connection with the death of an inmate last week. sources tell nbc bay area inmate michael tyree was severely beaten, suffered lacerations to his liver and spleen. according to jail records, three correctional deputies have been arrested and are in their own jail behind bars. our damian trujillo broke this story and is working on a report for our 11:00 a.m. news. we'll have a look at weather and traffic coming up after the break. t: 2
