6:20 am
some clouds, even scattered showers and thunderstorms. we do expect that to move in late saturday night into early sunday morning. some of the computer models are picking up on a slight chance of rain, especially for the south bay. as that moisture moves through the north it just fizzles out. we will be watching that because it looks like we will all see some clouds and some higher humidity and a slight chance of some showers and storms and also some dry lightning, too. that a concern saturday night into sunday and then by -- into the start of next week we will feel those temperatures coming down a few more degrees. if you are heading to the gear deli chocolate festival this weekend from noon to 5:00 it will be spectacular in san francisco. great weather for that. as we head towards southern california once again a chance of showers and storms there and some lightning. we will keep that slight dhans chance of rains in the peninsula and south bay for saturday. sunday the temperatures coming down a few more degrees, the

6:33 am
beginning to end. we watched it all unfold on live television. it was hard to imagine what was taking place, hard to understand and we didn't know until, you know, much later exactly who was behind all this. it's a painful day for folks in new york and i can also say it's an important day for folks around the country. since 9/11 there has been a bit of a national day of service around the country. it's not an official day, but it's a day in which a lot of people have chosen to do good will in this country. it's an -- acts of good will after just a terrible act of terror 14 years ago. >> what a nice way to honor the victims as well, dave. that's a great piece of information to know. >> very much so. thank you, dave. now a live look from shanksville, pennsylvania this morning where a memorial for those on board flight 93 now open. 14 years after the attack on september 11th. homeland security director jeh johnson will join family members
