shopping almost exclusively online and i woke up this morning annoyed by the number of e-mails -- it was the first time in forever that i can think of that i got anxiety from just e-mail after e-mail on the sales. >> it doesn't stop. >> and it started like thursday. started wednesday. like can you shop cyber monday now on thursday. >> right. >> thanksgiving thursday. >> and the conspiracy person in me, i never shopped at that store and how did they get my e-mail? >> and then i gave in. >> as part of the whole cyber monday thing amazon released video of its new drone service you've been hearing so much about that will drop off packages up to five pounds in customers' backyards and they haven't set a start date when the this is going to happen. all sort of theoretical for the time being but it's definitely technology that's pursuing and something they say is coming in the very near future. >> all good from someone falls from the sky. her dog rips it apart. >> we need that had. >> that's kind of amazing though if it works. >> it is. >> and robot delivers things to

francisco officer -- found on the wrong good monday morning. it's 9:26. i'm sam brock. a popular san francisco police officer now found on the wrong side of the law. christopher cores went viral when photos were posted online giving him the nickname the hot cop of castro. he even for the his own facebook fan page. now police say he's responsible for a hit and run crash that left two people this serious condition over the weekend. investigators say he fled the scene and left his car there in north beach. he was booked on suspicion of two felony counts of hit and run. meantime the man accused of shooting and killing ap-oakland muralist heading back to court facing murder charges after the killing of antonio ramos on

we're seeing more clouds and some light rain shower activity from san francisco in to the north bay. you can see these showers crossing over the peninsula. cloud cover will make for a bit of a cool afternoon. blocking out some of the sunshine at times. temperatures in the 40s and 50s around noon with highs today low to mid-50s light rain showers

when you go to build something is douglas fir. >> that's your favorite. >> how much do you ask them to cut off the bottom in. >> make a fresh cut on bottom before you put it in the stand so it absorbs more water so 2 inches off the bottom, make a nice fresh person lick-cut. >> fraser fir. >> i think i got a phraser yesterday. >> got a free already. >> fraser first are great trees, great symmetry and people like this one a lot because of its symmetry and color. branch res strong and good needle retention. unlike the douglas it's a real fir. >> the blue spruce, a little different look. >> very sturdy. one of the strongest branches, so if you've got heavy aronments, the colorado blue spruce is a great tree for that. great color. good symmetry and also the state tree of colorado and utah. >> colorado and utah. >> okay. all right. and over here you've got -- >> this is the cypress. >> it's really nice because you can see that it's soft.

very soft and what's great about this because it's not a pine or a fir, it's not in those families, doesn't produce sap so if somebody has a sap allergy, an excellent tree for that and a nice looking tree. >> does it hold ornaments well? >> got to go light with the ornaments, lights and tinsel and stuff with that but somebody for allergies a great alternative. >> a pretty look. >> and a great tree for landscaping. >> a white pine. >> the white pink, believe it or not, the white pine, smell this real quick. you don't really smell anything, do you? >> no. it's not very fragrant. the nice thing about the white pine if someone is allergic to a more aromatic species they don't get off a lot of fragrance. good symmetry and it's really soft. >> a lot of times you want to add something to the water for the tree and you've got some mad scientists here. >> that's really important, talking about the hydration. one important thing is to make sure you don't put your tree around any heat sources. make sure to use l.e.d. lights and not lies that are hot. miracle grow for christmas trees
