here, anthony. >> another cloudy start to the day. again, this is ahead of our next storm system that is set to arrive wednesday into thursday. low clouds in place and temperatures a little bit cooler and 49 degrees in the south bay. as we move through the day. a warmer afternoon. 69 for the south bay and 59 for san francisco and still cool at the coastline and mainly cloudy skies expected, once again. storm system arrives wednesday night into thursday and talk about the rain chances as we move through the morning. let's toss things over to mike. how are things moving on the road. >> just to show folks clearly the bay bridge. we could see it this morning and couldn't yesterday. low clouds touching the tops and you know the pattern bay area, folks. we know it well. smooth drive for the speed sensors all around the bay where you find the little patches of orange along the coast and somewhere around gilroy you'll find patches of fog, as well.

we'll zoom down south. a multi-vehicle crash blocking one lane and it's clearing up and the southbound side is distracted and that's what our viewers will find heading down towards santa cruz. the crash is on the northbound side. back to you. >> thank you very much. scary moments onboard an air france flight headed to paris last night, but the plane was forced to make an emergency landing in montreal, canada, due to a bomb threat. we first broke this story on twitter and received these pictures from a passenger onboard. the airline has since released a statement saying the crew of flight 83 decided to divert as a precautionary measure and landed just before midnight montreal time. crews checked the plane with passengers onboard and gave that all clear and that plane took off from montreal a couple hours ago. much of the united states remains on edge following last

week's deadly terror attack in san bernardino. this morning donald trump is gaining attention, once again, for his comments. calling for an all-out ban to muslims in the united states. >> kris sanchez is keeping track of the story. all part of growing backlish against muslim americans. >> not just here in washington, d.c., but here in the bay area. the kind of reaction that president obama cautioned against just a day ago and seem tazbe getting traction, not only with donald trump, but also with citizens who are calling muslim groups here in the bay area by phone. overnight, donald trump spoke onboard the "uss yorktown" calling for u.s. to close its borders to muslims altogether that the large numbers believe in waging war against this country. he mentioned a pew research poll we'll look that up for you in a few moments. earlier this month trump called for surveillance on local mosques and for muslims to have

school to help, to help the parents back the teachers to show that we're ready to let the district know that we're really concerned about a strike happening. >> but could those efforts be self-defeating. the superintendent of the san lorenzo school district said the school is operating in the red and trying to understand to parents that pulling the kids out of school hurts the district's effort to give the teachers what they want, more money. they're asking for a 6% raise and the district is countering with a 1% offer. a lot of fog out there, the thing is, it is in patches and you could come upon it suddenly if you're out driving. >> we're looking at clouds. temperatures are mild. once again back in the 40s and 50s. stick around with the morning fog and cloud cover and especially for the south bay and the tri-valley. we will hold on to the cloud cover, especially at the coastline. 59 for san francisco and mid-60s

olympic sprinter oscar pistorius bail -- despite his murr 4:41. tuesday morning. a judge this mornting granted oscar pistorius bail despite his murder convikdz. that means the double amputee remains under house arrest. his bail is $10,000 which is less than $700 u.s. dollars. comes after a court saying pistorius murdered his girlfriend. he faces 15 years in prison when he was sentenced in april. he will appeal the new murder conviction to the south african supreme court. 4:41 right now. back here in the bay area, san jose police trying to track down a trio of burglars. police say three men broke into a san jose home back in september. you're looking at video of it right there. they forced their way into a side garage door and took jewelry and cash and then took

graphic right now. >> about the same we saw yesterday. some spots in the south bay seeing visibility lower than it was yesterday at this time. as we head through the morning, just expect another foggy start through the day. allow a little extra time, especially if you're traveling through some of those areas where the hills rise and get foggy locations. starting out ofrom the shot from san francisco we're looking at visibility not too bad. santa rosa right now viz sibili down to one mile and up to 3 this morning. 3 miles, even 6 miles in san jose. you'll get the picture, foggy start to the day. as we head through the morning. we'll see clouds increase as we saw yesterday. still high-filter cloud cover that we saw and look at this by tonight, start to see showers showers in the north bay and start to stretch through the bay area as we head through the day on thursday. tomorrow, again, mainly north bay rain. for today, another dry day after

we get rid of this fog. 65 degrees in the south bay and mid-50s really near 60 for san francisco. the closer you get to the water, little bit cooler. napa 63 degrees. hayward 62 for today and more sunshine expected for the tri-valley. now, here's the rain i was telling you about. this is wednesday night across parts of the north bay. showers starting to move in. wednesday night into thursday morning, right around 4:00 in the morning that's when we see the heavier bands push into the north bay and push into san francisco by rush hour. by thursday night, another round of heavy rain pushes back in and that is going to clear out by friday morning. then, as we head into the weekend, saturday will be a dry day, but another storm system is expected to move through by sunday night into monday morning, leaving for another wet morn monday morning commute. we'll give you rain totals in the next report. in the mooem meantime, mike, any better on those roads? >> it is better than it was yesterday, but, folks, anthony and i want to give you some p

guys. back to you. you have to speed through this, as well. police are look for a bogus officer on the peninsula who might be trying to fool businesses into forking over their cash. the man that only looks like a san mateo police officer. investigators say that video from november 24th shows him walking the aisles at the crystal springs village safeway. the imposture told store workers that he was investigating a theft. the manager says when the imposture asked where the store kept its cash, the clerk became a little concerned. >> that's when she panicked and was like, you know what, i'll call the police. i think the outfit threw her off. saying it was too baggy. >> the imposture left before deputies could arrive. investigators right now trying to figure out if the same man successfully robbed a nearby safeway store the week before. >> clever out there. 4:55 right now. staying hydrated will be easier

the next time you find yourself strolling san francisco clemente street. the latest water bottle filling station. if you're counting, up to 69 now, with the goal being 100. one of the busiest intersections. coincides with the holiday stroll, an event organized by clement street. you probably know some vendors do not sell raw produce but some markets have strict restrictions. danville council will meet to allow more agricultural vendors to meet. that includes more items like pastries and other prepared foods. apparently the drought is impactly the number of booths that operate in danville and current rules provide very little flexibility. as early as today, marin may get the green light for marijuana dispensaries.
