shooters, their attack and other potential targets. miguel almaguer is there this morning. >> the conference room where so many were killed will remain closed until january. before the terror attack that left 14 dead and 21 wounded, syed farook and tashfeen malik left behind evidence they were contemplating other targets in southern california. law enforcement officials say they include a possible attack to attack a university or a public area. officials say three years ago farook may have also stalked about staging an attack in los angeles with his childhood friend enrique marquez before getting cold feet. marquez is getting questioned. he is the man farook acquired

coli, you know, there was one particular wft and the reporting of the illnesses came out over a long period of time. >> so you're saying in boston you could have more cases reported? >> well, with the noro virus, probably you've heard that this is the extent of it. but it's a very -- it's a disease that is very easily passed and so spreads very, very quickly from person to person. >> and you convinced when you reopen that store in brighton up near boston that people will not be getting sick if they go back to eat there? >> when we reopen, the restaurant will be completely sanitized and every single employee will have been tested and assured they do not have norio virus. >> 43 stores shut down, dozens of people got sick. it my understanding after weeks

microclimate weather alert - and a live look right now at good morning to you. 7:26 right now. i'm laura garcia-cannon. a live look right now at interstate 880 in oakland, a wet morning is greeting commuters. steady rain moves in from the north bay early this morning. in some places it's made for minor flooding. here are conditions earlier along highway 101 in greenbrae. drivers have been moving through a lot of steady water. further north, weather brought down a tree that brought down a try on highway 1616 116 in guerneville. >> highest impact is in the

north bay, an inch to two inches so far. much less in san francisco and further to the south. light rain now in san jose. we want to tell you about the next round of rain moving in. most of the day looks dry, even some sunshine coming down. a heads up about this next line of storms that will have the potential of producing some lightning, gusty winds and small hail. this will be moving into the south bay later tonight. let's check in with mike to see how the roads are moving. >> not a shock it's not moving  well. but the rain has been here. look at the maps, lighter volume of traffic keeping things moving pretty well, in the 50s as you travel northbound. flooding from mission off of 680. a fender bender around the walnut creek interchange. minor flooding in san francisco and oakland. southbound commute not bad. >> we'll be back with another

facing calls to resign, tried to calm tensions at a special city council meeting, by apologizing for the shooting and vowing complete and total reform of the city's police department. president obama is signing a major overhaul of the no child left behind law today, while standardized reading and math tests will still be required. the changes will limit the classroom time spent on them and lessen the penalties for underperforming schools. let's start with a story behind the video we've been showing you this morning of a cabbie being dragged by an uber driver. this happened during an anti-uber protest. willie is following this story for us. hey, willie. good morning. >> good wild snean toronto. the driver was banging on the car hoping to make a point that uber drivers are unsafe and uninsured. during a protest against uber, a cab driver took out his frustration of the company, banging on the window of an uber driver's car. suddenly, the driver pulls away with the man clinging to the

car, dragging him 70 feet. the man was among several toronto taxi drivers protesting unfair business practices by uber, threatening the existence of the taxi industry. the man, the uber driver and the driver were not hurt. cab drivers in cities like new york, chicago and new orleans join the global day of action against uber in september with more protest in france, brazil and india. while the car hailing app revolutionized how they get around, they have raised questions about business practices. >> what is your response to uber kills professional, good paying jobs and destroys the cab industry. >> in uber, you can use your own car, you don't pay to rent a vehicle. you make more dollars per hour and it's flexible. you don't have a shift.

the really good news is we're going to see a ton of snow in the sierra and the cascades. especially in the sierra. that will help the snow pact as we get into next spring, as well. on the other hand, we've got on saturday, 23 million people at risk for severe storms. super cells in the afternoon. possible tornadoes. rainfall amounts, anywhere from 3 to 5 inches of rain, from central texas to western and central ar we have a microclimate weather alert in effect for the next round of storms that will be moving in later this evening. we've already had some rounds of some light rain and the the next one moving into san francisco. parts of the peninsula as we speak. this will be moving off to the east across the bay and into the east bay and you'll see some of those showers falling. we will have some breaks and sunshine peeking out here and there, but the round of rain later on this evening may produce very heavy downpours along with small hail.
