dunbarton bridge over towards fremont, you can see the slowing on the sensors heading east bound. there are closures. if you try to get off the bridge and southbound 880, you cannot do until 5:00. hopefully we'll have the crews reopening that between 5:00 and 6:00 is when that is expected to clear there. northbound is off the eastbound direction. we'll track the rest of the freeway coming up. a san jose police officer who made national headlines with tweets many found offensive now speaking out the first time. >> officer generated controversy last year when he responded to supporters of the black lives matter movement on twitter. in october, the department fired him. then an independent arbitrator ordered white be reinstated. today city council members are

the final report is expected in 90 days. an investigative unit. there are more than 36,000 auto repair shops across california but finding one you can trust isn't always easy. a state agency says it works to protect consumers looking into complaints against repair shops. they discovered much of what they find is kept secret. the bureau of automotive repair was created to hold the auto industry accountable. our investigative unit found out that for about 97% of auto repair complaints, repair shops never face dies palestine. >> i think your investigative reporting showed us there were some gaps here and that the consumer isn't as protected as they could be or should be. >> the bureau says state law actually prevents the agency from issuing more fines to repair shops, but a law maker says that just isn't true.

it's been so cool and cloudy here lately. nice to see the sun. we had that yesterday afternoon. we'll have it again today with warmer air moving in. temperatures are now in the lower 50s. 53 in san francisco and the east bay. south bay 58. as we get a closer look at the north bay from our weather underground sites. 49 in san rafael. venecia 53. we begin the same way as yesterday. it's not as widespread but we will have a good coverage of low clouds. mist may be a problem. as we go into 4:00 this afternoon, it's along the coast once again. that will keep san francisco temperatures cool. we won't see the fog as widespread heading into tomorrow. that will be the trend over the next couple of mornings. we get clear skies across the bay.

still some clouds at 6:00 and 7:00 this morning. the sun starts to peek out at 8:00. 62 by 10:00. we continue to see those temperatures warming up into the low 70s today. and some 70s in the forecast widespread. south bay up to 79 in los gatos. embarcadero up to 65. low 80s in spots like brentwood. our temperatures will be well above average for this time of year. if you are going to the giants game tonight, slightly warmer than last night at the game. still becoming mostly cloudy. light winds from the west at 10 to 15 miles per hour. our temperature trend starting out tomorrow in dublin into the lower 80s. thursday looks to be our warmest day of the week. average high is 74. we'll be back there in time for the weekend. slightly cooler temperatures come in. looking ahead to the weekend forecast, looking at highs in the upper 70s for the
