clara. it all started with a knife attack that plan about 7:00. police say a 57-year-old stabbed a neibor at his apartment building. other neighbors came rung out of near homes after hearing scream screams. >> i always make nice. i see well behind me. i didn't know what to do. i just make them go back, back, back. >> the suspect ended up barricadeing himself in his own apartment following that stabbing and after hours of negotiations, a s.w.a.t. team eventually moved in, using flash bangs and pepper gas to coax the suspect out. the stabbing victim was hospitalized and is expected to be okay. this morning there is shock and sadness after a football player died at a high school in alameda

yesterday that player collapsed and later passed away. they are not telling us how he died. protesters devended upon city hall city hall releasing the video by those who want the police chief fired. officials say demonstrators broke windows and broke decorative iron work. >> it had damage to this historic building. this is the people's palace. >> some reporters claim they were roughed up by police officers during that protest. deputies ended up arresting 33

demonstrators. primaries were held yesterday in oregon. there is still a little uncertainty about up with of those races. no surprise here, as republicans voted for donald trump, leaving him another 81 delegates officially saleing up the nomination. democrats in oregon, meantime, chose bernie sanders. sanders still needs more than 800 delegates if he wants to wrestle away the nomination from hillary clinton. in kentucky, they are calling hillary clinton the apparent winner, with less than 100 dem gather from clinching the nomination. >> i am the only candidate. the only candidate with a plan, a $30 billion plan to help poll country. >> kentucky republicans did not go to the polls yesterday. while we're talking about

some simple high tech tools to their crime fighting arsenal. the dublin police department is looking to add some simple but high-tech tools to its fighting arsenal. police right now are requesting a half million dollars to install license plate meters on the 580 exit all the way into dublin. some patrol cars and police say in march the number of home burglaries doubled. some people questioned the added layer of under surveillance. >> i do value my privacy and so i'm a little concerned about that. >> so that's not all they're thinking of doing. dublin authorities are requesting the ability for private home under surveillance
