off- campus shooting. 17 year-old "edwin josue ramirez guerra" was killed. students in novato high school return to school the first time since last week's shooting. a second shoot was shot and stabbed and still recovering. three suspects are in custody. police are looking for one more teenage suspect. prosecutors have not decided what charges to file or whether the two suspects will be charged as adults or juveniles. happening today, the suspect in the deadly los gatos shooting, entering a plea. three weeks ago he and another man tried to burglarize a los gatos home. they shoot and killed a man who lived there. the pair jumped into a get away car but crashed the car on highway 17 during a high-speed

chase. the other suspect died in the crash. there are still no signs of missing vallejo teenager pearl pinson. officials searched a remote area near the river. she was abducted in vallejo on her way to school. witnesses saw her being dragged across the pedestrian walkway. the man on the right side of your screen is suspected of taking her. he was involved in a shootout with police that went down to santa barbara county. a barn fire closed down 116 for several hours yesterday. the flames engulfed the large barn and a car. this is west of stoney point road. fire crews say the wind and humidity made that fire much worse. >> police say the second floor of the barn looked like people lived there, but there were no injuries reported. not over yet. rain continues to hammer down on texas. new video that shows how severe the flooding is.

houston. take a look, rivers overflowing their banks and incredible video this morning from woodland, texas. north of houston. rivers just overflowing there. banks and streets washed out by flood waters. texas and the midwest have been hit hard by rain and flooding. six people are dead. that region is expecting more severe weather all throughout the week. they are having a tough go of

it. >> rob was talking about that's historic flooding near houston. >> the flood stage is about 43 feet. friday morning, the projection is 53.5 feet. and that rain is almost 10 to 18 inches of rain in western austin texas and continues to drain out offer the texas gulf coast. here we see no rain in the forecast. areas of low cloud and fog. to that rainfall map, you can see these areas showing up bull's-eye. you had almost 18 inches of rain come down. houston and parts of southeast texas seeing a few scattered showers. potential is still there for isolated downpours and isolated tornados could be in the forecast for the central plains today. not going to apply that here across the west coast. we have a block of high pressure

which will strengthen through friday. it will reach the max intensity. temperatures soaring to the 90s and temperatures approaching 100 degrees for the week. to the coast, that patchy fog. high pressure strengthens and compresses down. inland temperatures will climb to the mid 90s. low 90s around los gatos. san francisco, highs in the 70s. upper 80s around santa rosa. watch these temperatures as we go through the next few days. high temperatures strengthening as that ridge continues to build. here is the spike for san jose climbing up to the mid 90s friday. cloud, weekend cooling. check out pleasanton. near 100 degrees on friday. concord and antioch, you see temperatures soaring close to 105 in towards the delta. we are looking at heavy

traffic. if you're a south bay commuter, look at that traffic. it's stop and go on the 101. we have an obstruction in the roadway. i was trying to figure out what's happening here. car went off the road, maybe had a fire. now the car is off to the side of the road. looks like they are still dealing with fire there. the road sensors aren't showing the reds and yellows, but you see major backup. we are trying to get word on what's happening there. you see the east bay dealing with slowing coming into livermore. we'll try to get more information for you. 4:47. north korea appears to have failed another missile launch. >> south korea's news agency is reporting a missile exploded at the mobile launch pad. soon as the launch button was

delegates away from clinching the nomination. california has close to 500 delegates at stake next tuesday. we'll stay on the sanders story all morning with a look at both sides. hillary clinton canceling campaign events in new jersey to come out to california. here she is yesterday in chappaqua, new york, at an annual parade. it might be an indication she is facing a tougher fight than expected from bernie sanders. she will begin a five-day campaign swing here starting thursday. california clearly the place to be these days in politics. donald trump is holding a press conference at 8:00 in new york before he heads back out to california. trump is due in sacramento for a rally at the airport.

took a flight out of florida three tries to get to its destination. >> an allegeant flight was headed to knock yesterday. a passenger suffered a medical issue. then once in the air, electrical problems forced the plain to turn around. later a piece of emergency equipment had to be inspected. passengers were left waiting more than ten hours for a less than two hour flight. the bay area pays tribute to the brave men and women who fought and died for our freedom yesterday. in the south bay, the gambill veterans memorial foundation featured musical tributes from the delmar high school band, scout troops placed flags at headstones.
