presumptive nominee. nbc news reports that she has secured the 2,384 delegates needed. clinton spoke about embarking on history at a rally last night. according to the news, we are in the brink of a historic, historic unprecedented moment, but we still have work to do, don't we? we have six elections tomorrow. and we're going to fight hard for every single vote, especially right here in california. >> but the clinton campaign cautioned against new news, worried it would suppress voter turnout at the primaries. they issued this statement. this is an important milestone, six states voting tuesday, with millions of people heads to the polls. hillary clinton is working to earn every vote. we look forward to tuesday night, when hillary clinton will clinch not only a win in the

popular vote, but also the majority of pledged delegates. that didn't stop the campaign from using the news to its advantage, putting out a fundraising e-mail. bernie sanders says it amounts to nothing more than a media frenzy, putting out a statement, saying the media is ignoring the clear statement that it is wrong to count the votes of super delegates before they actually vote at the convention this summer. secretary clinton does not have and will not have the requisite number of fledged delegates to secure the nomination. here is what he said to kntv last night. >> well, i think what according to the democratic national committee, what they should not be doing is lumping pledged delegates, i.e., real delegates with super delegates, who may or may not change their mind, but who do not vote until july 25th. so everybody else exactly how

could be some additional flash flooding there. the bulk of the southeast is clearing out. eastern north carolina, georgia, north florida have completely cleared out. it wouldn't surprise me if the hurricanes stop issuing advisories on it. you could see the center of the storm located to the north of the jacksonville, florida area. about 110 miles east of the location, and racing at 31 miles per hour. it is quickly head off the coast. off of north carolina, and then just extra tropical low by this afternoon. warmth on the move, all the heat we've had in west, we peaked in the weekend, but still warm in many areas. today, very warm. today, portland, 91, 21 degrees above average, vegas, 107, phoenix, 107. heat continues, but it will slowly slide as we get a cold front going through the north west. boise, 101 on wednesday.
