our "today" food team called upon one of our contributors who has come up with a couple delicious ideas for a winner, winner, chicken dinner. >> how about that? >> the chicken wasn't a winner. look what happened to it. >> ground chicken, two ways. our ingredients, we will make a chicken parm burger to start. this is a very good summer version of chicken parm made of garlic, broground chicken. here it is here. we will add parmesan, italian seasoning, salt, pepper, garlic and red pepper flakes which are optional if you don't like the spice. i like the spice. >> me, too. >> this is greek yogurt which i also love adding to my burgers because it makes them nice and moist. it's a good alternative to eggs if you don't want to use eggs.

we will mix that all up. it takes a second. then we will form our patties. this will make about four patties, one pound of ground chicken. you have a hot skillet, we will add one and cook it for about five minutes per side. >> you just have a little oil in the bottom. >> little bit of oil. it will get nice and golden brown. here they are over here. >> are they cooked through? >> they are, however, we will -- we will put them in the broiler. to get that bubbly chicken parm. to these i will add marinara. you want to grab the tomato and put a tomato on top, then a big slice of mozarella. under the broiler for just a couple of minutes until the cheese gets all bubbly. >> come on. >> over here we have a cheeseless one for you. you can serve it with a bun but i actually like to eat it without the bun. i also like to serve it with

spaghetti sometimes. >> do kids like this, too? is this something kids enjoy? >> they do. >> yes. he loves anything that's sort of a lighter version of a comfort food. >> oh, my gosh. can't wait for this. delicious. >> you need any more marinara? >> look it up. this is very important. we have to wait until she eats it. we're waiting. we're not moving to the next segment. come on. >> love this! >> all right. >> our next, buffalo chicken meatballs. i like buffalo anything. ground chicken again, we will use eggs, celery, onions, make a little greek yogurt buffalo sauce. to make the hot sauce, buffalo sauce, it's just melted butter and hot sauce. >> that's it? >> yep. then you get that buffalo flavor. mix it together until it's nice and smooth.

we will let that cool before we add it to the burgers. over here we have ground chicken again. we will add one egg and then celery, onion, panko, garlic powder, and half of the hot sauce mixture. the other half will go on while they're baking. we will take them out about halfway through, and put the rest of the hot sauce on. >> how long does it take to bake these? >> about 20 minutes. ten minutes before the hot sauce and ten minutes after. >> can we taste? >> then our little mixture is greek yogurt and buffalo cheese crumbles. >> wait a second. let's wait for the verdict. you eat first. >> do it together. >> one, two, three. >> chicken buffalo meatballs. >> good food. get these recipes at today.com/food.
