we have a fender bender reported there. no injuries reported but we'll track that and there might be another issue in the east bay. as the nba finals came to a close last night one fan suffering a fall that reportedly left the person critically injured. police are reaching out to anybody who might have seen that man fall. >> a man was involved in a fight with another person before the fall. so far no arrests have been made. the fan is hospitalized in critical condition. outside the arena things remained calm. police presence was increased ahead of the game. the headlines on the chronicle dethrowned by the king.

the front page says the warriors were dethrowned by a historic performance from the cavaliers and lebron james. there's a new champion this morning. we are live with a recap of what happened to cause the collapse. good morning, bob. >> unfortunately you're correct. good morning. the warriors did not have andrew who was out for an injury. steph curry was not his usual self. while green had a spectacular performance last night you couldn't say that for the rest of the warriors here. they could not offset his performance. the warriors never seemed to get hot. the game which was not neck and neck came down to the last few minutes of the final quarter.

lebron james ended up winning 93-89 becoming the first basketball team to come back from a one to three deficit and taking out the warriors who had a record win of 73 wins. >> nothing is ever guaranteed. you can't take this stage for granted and it's hard to win a championship. >> it hurts real bad right now but i promise you we're going to get better from it and it's not the last time we'll be at the sta stage and not the last time we'll be here. >> last night's win for cleveland, that's the first championship for the city of cleveland since 1964, when the browns won the nfl championship.

>> it's scarey and seeing the red flames and the smoke and the ash coming down and knowing that you have no control over it. >> two homes were damaged when a brush fire broke out in the silver lake area of l.a. yesterday. fire crews knocked it down in about an hour. in arizona a wildfire burning out of control has burned 12,000 acres and in new mexico more than two dozen homes burned last week. intense heat is sto blame for four deaths in arizona. authorities say the victims died while hiking. a 28-year-old personal trainer is among the victims. the heat overcame her despite having water and being treated by a doctor in her hiking group. the highs could reach 125 degrees today. coming up, more than simply

>> no, probably not. i don't have central air conditioning at home so that's the compromise. >> there's a big reason why i ask because it's going to be hot this week. >> all week long even this weekend. it looks like we're stuck in this pattern where we will have 90s for inland temperatures. san francisco will feel better. we start out this morning, napa, 48 degrees. it feels nicer there. at least you can open up the windows before the temperatures heat up. it's 61 degrees so already a widespread in the temperatures as we start out monday morning. it's the first day of summer too. 93 degrees will be the high today and 91 at sana rosea.

the wind forecast doesn't help us. the winds will be light unless you're along the coast. half moon bay will be more breezy up to 20 miles an hour but the inland area have the winds coming in from the north at about five to ten miles an hour. dangerous heat for parts of the bay area and southern california but a big chunk of the southwest as this high pressure continues to stay in the same place and it will be with us throughout the week. so no change in these temperatures, still staying very hot on tomorrow and san jose up to 91 degrees. the average high is 81. saturday it starts to come back down but it's still very warm. in san francisco the average temperature is 67 degrees. up to 80 degrees on thursday and then once again this weekend starts to feel a couple of

degrees cooler but still very warm. up to 86 degrees on saturday in the peninsula. we will have those 90s for the trivalley south way and parts of the north bay. >> no hot spots. we're looking over here toward the bay bridge and that's looking cool as far as the drive goes. we have one issue, the crash is not a big deal on the 101. looking to the right side of the screen southbound 680 we have reports of a stalled vehicle but some metal debris. my concerns is the debris because of the stall off the roadway. no surprises here. the north bay a light easy drive. look at that, there's the curve into the s curve.

between the bay area and the san joaquin valley. ==vo== the transit agency is adding another round-trip service square and bakersfield. ondon amtrak is adding service between oakland and bakers field. it starts today making the seventh daily trips. it's due to increased congestion. a portion of san francisco's great highway closes for ten days. that's done every year to ensure that sand doesn't bury the roadway. the highway will close between

7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on week days. during that time crews are going to remove that sand build up. more than 5,000 cubic yards of sand will be put back into the ocean. wind causes the sand to build up. a plan is in the works to move a portion of highway 1 away from an eroding cliff. the problem is effecting the southbound lane. for now a traffic signal will allow drivers through one direction at a time. that means delays of five to ten minutes through that area. temporary detours could begin in late summer or fall. a major realignment will not happen for another three years. the first family enjoyed part of father's day in california at the yosemite national park. i was posted on micheltheir.
