"early today" starts right now. good morning everyone. u.s. airstrikes have hit in the iraqi city killing 250 islamic state fighters. a senior official tells nbc news it destroyed about 200 vehicles fleeing one of their strongholds. video released by iraq's city of defense. we starltd after an isis convoy was reported fleeing just outside the city. if confirmed the strikes among the deadliest ever against isis. it is days after more than two years. police in turkey raided a series of neighborhoods in istanbul. it left dozens dead. according to the state police lead by special forces carried
