where the interfaith memorial service is expected to take place. last night thousands came out paying tribute. many leaving cards, flowers outside the police headquarters here and putting them on patrol units. that tribute blocks away from where the shooter carried out his shooting spree. he was killed by a police-detonated bomb. today with the president coming here the focus is shifting to healing and burial of those five officers along with the president former president george w. bush is expected to speak here today. he will be joined with his wife laura and vice president joe biden. support from all over the nation coming here to dallas. people wrapping arms showing love and support. >> thank you very much. in the meantime protests demanding police reforms are continuing across the country

including overnight in the east bay. hundreds turned out for a black lives matter rally. that rally comes in the wake of last night's deadly police shootings in baton rouge and minnesota. there were similar rallies held in oakland and san francisco over the weekend. family members of the vallejo woman believed to be kidnapped and ransomed. four people are behind bars. elvira babb's was kidnapped about two weeks ago. last night there was a small vigil. the text message was sent to her son demanding a $60,000 ransom for her return. two suspects were in court yesterday. later today the other two suspects will face a judge. a man is in jail accused of molesting girls over a period of

14 years. sheriff's deputies arrested daniel miranda last week. the 66 year old is charged with molesting five girls between 1999 and 2013. investigators say the first person came forward in 2014 but there was not enough evidence for arrest. miranda pleaded not guilty to 17 counts of lewd acts with a child. an investigation is underway after a freight train hit and killed someone walking on the tracks in antioch. it happened on fulton ship yard road. the victim was thrown into and landed in a nearby river pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. investigators say this does not appear to be a suicide. uplifting story. the country's oldest national parks ranger expected back on the job after a violent home

the victims, a father and adult son were on a raft. authorities say the 34-year-old son jumped into the water and couldn't swim and had no life jacket. his 59-year-old father drowned trying to save his son. both men had been warned their raft was outside of the lake's designated swimming area. protesters are calling for oakland mayor to resign in the recent opd sex abuse scandal. >> the group protested after more than two dozen oakland police officers accused of having sex with a self-proclaimed prostitute responsibly while she was underway. >> the fact that a 17-year-old child was raped by the police department and the mayor was incapable of finding a police chief to be the police chief. >> protests gathered signatures to get a recall on the ballot. the group failed to get enough

signatures. police officers in the bay area's biggest city will be wearing body cameras. san jose police will start wearing cameras. last year the department field tested the cameras for several months. they have become standard for officers on patrol thmpt recordings will become part of investigative records. draymond greens olympics status is up in the air. police arrested him on charges of assault and battery after an incident. green apparently got into an altercation with a fan. some witnesses reported that the fan was taunting green. the news caught warriors fans by surprise. >> shocked, actually. i didn't think he would do

time? >> hopefully he will have nice weather. we will have nice weather here. it will be warm and feel like summer time over the next few days as we start out a live look over san jose. all clear skies as you head out the door. zee seen low clouds rolling back into san francisco and along the coast. temperature wise it is 57 degrees in san jose. 54 degrees in napa as well as livermore. oakland at 58 degrees. as we break it down for berkeley we will be in mid 50s starting out. clouds until about 9:00 and then you see the sun coming out. it will be a sunny nice day. highs in the mid 70s there. and a look at the rest of the highs up to 89 degrees. we are starting to see 90s appear here. i think it will become a little more common as we head into tomorrow as well as thursday. that will be the hottest days of the week. we will have to deal with that for a couple of days. san francisco 68 degrees. and we are starting out with fog

moving into the coast line. we will be clearing out as we go through the rest of the day. later tonight it moves right back in. at least we have some places to go where it will be a little bit cooler where we have the fog, the ocean air moving in and some cooler temperatures. high pressure builds and valleys will be in 80s and 90s for tomorrow and thursday. it moves to the east. this area of low pressure moves in and also increases our sea breeze in time for the weekend. valleys get a bit of a break. looking ahead to the weekend forecast 95 degrees in the trivalley on friday. 92 degrees in the south bay and san francisco comes back down to about 65 degrees on sunday while we will have some mid 80s for the south bay peninsula into the upper 70s and 88 degrees in the tri-valley for the end of the weekend. i will have another look at the forecast coming up.

mike has more details on the crash in the east bay. >> the commute looking great. no major issues. we have this crash but no slowing on the speed censors but it is eastbound at 24. the crash sounds like everything is off of the roadway but chp may be blocking part of that. we will look at the golden gate bridge. a live look shows you no problem and no fog. you can see the lights. we will look at the san mateo bridge. all lanes westbound are just fine tonight into tomorrow morning. 24 hours from now picking up cones but overnight a closure of two lanes westbound. it will be open, a couple of lanes less. back to you. >> thank you very much. 4:48 and new this morning at least 11 people have died from the latest car bombing in baghdad. suicide car bomber attacked

outdoor market. more than 30 people were injured in that attack which prompted government forces to close most major roads. this follows two large scale attacks last week by isis that killed more than 300 people. a developing story out of syria where an air strike hit a local field hospital. three people including a child were killed. the charity running the hospital said it was providing services to locals, many of whom are internally displaced syrians escaping. an inmate shot and killed two bailiffs inside a courthouse. deputies say the inmate was being moved from a holding cell to the courtroom when he disarmed one officer. the inmate used the gun to shoot two bailiffs, deputy and civilian. the deputy is in stable condition and the civilian was
