good morning. i'm paige hopkins. it's official, donald trump is now the 2016 presidential nominee. it was donald jr. to announced the delegates putting his dad over the top. >> it is my honor to be able to throw donald trump over the top in the delegate count tonight with 89 delegates and another six projected. congratulations, dad, we love you! >> donald trump addressed the convention again this time via satellite thanking supporters and vowing to win in november. his adult children also took the stage to humanize their father with the strongest speech of the night. >> if you do what you love, hold nothing back and never let fear or failure get in the way then you pretty much figured out the trump formula. >> i know when people tell him it can't be done it guarantees that he gets it done.

nearly half say they don't know enough to determine whether they like him or don't like him. the unknown is much larger than his favorability numbers. in that poll we also found that nearly as many who describe themselves as very conservative also say they don't know enough about pence to decide whether or not he's a good or a bad choice. when it comes to his affect on the ticket, 75% said that their choice of donald trump whether they support him or not, not really affected by pence at all. it's pretty clear that people don't know who mike pence is. his job tonight is to introduce himself to america. we'll also hear from eric trump, the third child of donald trump to take the stage. we'll also hear from ted cruz and marco rubio. the entertainment industry the reeling over news of the passing of garry marshall. the producer suffered from complications from pneumonia following a stroke.
