we're in the weird election where both candidates are unpopular, but donald trump is more unpopular than hillary clinton. she wants the election to be a referendum on him. one way to do that is pick a nominee that could step into the presidency. nobody will hate tim kaine. nobody would say i would vote for hillary clinton, but i cannot go to vote for tim kaine. >> let's go to donald trump. the morning after his crowning achievement, he holds a bizarre news conference. this event with volunteers and he starts to ramble on and on. he goes after rivals. john kasich and ted cruz. why can't he let go of the primary? >> it is good for him. it is his acceptance speech for the nomination did not go on rambling because he had a teleprompter. it felt like he was pretending
