pets. and a lot of people have children. coyotes are known to attack small children when they're desperate. in other news tonight, a heart breaking story on the peninsula. a san mateo woman watched in horror as her beloved pet died in her burning home. officers had to physically restrain her for her safety. fire destroyed one town home and destroyed fwo other units. the dog's owner was briefly arrested for fighting with police. an emergency landing along the peninsula today. a small plane came crashing down this afternoon. it touched down on a small piece of land near the raven was wood reserve. fortunately they were not hurt. still no word on what triggered this emergencing landing. the city of palo alto says

forecast, the interesting thing to note when you look at all the different charts is the jet stream, the conveyer belts of cold and rainy temperatures is underway. we should have the jet stream eve. closer than that. but the rainfall is going to stay up into oregon and washington and that much colder air. we have high pressure just off shore shielding us from getting any kind of wet weather. it's going to be fantastic. i'd like to see rainfall but again that is not going to happen. as you get a look closer, the only spot that will not see a big warm up is the immediate coastline. we'll still have a cooler westerly wind in place. and down through the sf coast line and pacifica, expected to see that foggy breeze. fog is the main reason why we'll have wide-spread conditions from

the 60s to the upper 90s. and we'll have the fog coming back to san francisco to start and 53 degrees. the coolest will be the north bay at 52. right across the peninsula, foggy weather that the coastlin and 52 degrees. again saturday does warm up. there went be any upper 90s for tomorrow. but we will go as warm as 93 in oregon hill. the farther away you get from that colder ocean breeze, the colder the temperatures will be on a day like this. half moon bay a chilly 64 and over towards palo alto, 81 and san francisco, warm up to 69 in the mission. but back to the golden gate bridge, temperatures will only be at 65 degrees. so, if you're here visiting,

craig was shot and killed in the saratoga home on monday. they were nilthsy called to the home to confirm his safety and the family member requested a well check. they broke in the side door when there was no answer and that's when they were confronted by craig armed with a loaded gun. who damaged american flags in east palo alto? tonight there are new clues. earlier this week, we showed you the scorched flags after an arsnist set fire to the september 11th memorial. the 343 flags represented the firefighters killed in the collapse of the world trade center. they released a surveillance video of the suspect. if you recognize this man, your rrb asked to call police.
