campaign director for hillary clinton yesterday tweeted, friends please remember if you see a whopper after wikileaks in the next two days it's probably a fake. does that mean you guys are sitting there holding your breath over the next 24 hours worried about some other drop of information? >> you know, we're not. we're really focused on turning out our supporters, just this weekend we made 8.1 million phone calls, knocked on 7.2 million doors, that ground game we worked so hard to build is in full action right now and we're seeing historic turnout. latino and asian-american turnout has doubled in north carolina and florida. and a third, a third of the asian-american and latino voters that are turning out in florida didn't vote in 2014 and 2012. that doesn't happen by accident. it's the work that our team did to register hundreds of thousands of voters and now all of the work that our volunteers are doing to remind people to vote. >> yet robby, we see secretary

clinton in michigan today, the president went there, you are sending top surrogates to colorado, these are blue states. does that signal jitters on the campaign's part, the deep blue wall not as strong as you astronaut >> we are focused on states that vote predominantly on election day so we were focused on north carolina, florida, nevada who have early voting, now new hampshire, michigan, pennsylvania. even ohio, states where much more than half of the vote will be coming in tomorrow. >> just quickly, are you prepared for either outcome tomorrow? >> you know, we're prepared for everything. but for the next 24-48 hours we are really focused on turning our supporters out to vote. i'm proud to announce secretary clinton will be airing an ad this evening, a two-minute ad with secretary clinton making her closing argument to the voters, and we're hoping people will tune in and see that this evening. >> clinton campaign manager

robby mook. thank you. >> now the mood of the trump campaign. kellyanne conway, good morning. thanks for being here. you know, donald trump made the most of the comey letter when it came out in late october stating this were going to be new e-mails potentially pertinent to the investigation. he said that they were classified, i think a quote was those have to be beyond classified said she was guilty, this was indictment coming. can we expect him now in light of what comey has now said, to say i'd like to correct the record? >> they are troubling open questions as we know. >> but his assertions proven false. >> they kept saying right left and center why in the world would you reopen or extend this investigation if you didn't have something big. even the democrats were saying that. donald trump did not do which hillary clinton and others on the democratic side did do was viciously attack jim comey who thought he was doing his job. first he is a hero in july, now he's the enemy. >> i'm going to stop you for a second.
7:12 am
what he said 10 days ago was director comey had guts, he did the right thing and he had confidence in the fbi. now after yesterday, the fbi rolled over, let clinton off, should be ashamed of himself. >> why reopen if there is no there there. and the investigation has been a hot mess from the beginning. he said i won't prosecute her then went on to list the litany of illegality. >> but he didn't attack comey 10 days ago. saved that for yesterday. >> he is talking about is the corrupt system that shipped our jobs over seas, that has given us bad trade deals, the one that allows people to pour over the borders and take our jobs. >> haven't both campaigns lost credibility on criticizing comey. both campaigns do this. they like what comey does, he's a man of great integrity. when the don't like the results, he should be ashamed of himself. would you acknowledge that neither campaign exactly has clean hands when it comes to
7:13 am
this. >> i was very surprised last week savannah, even the president of the united states saying that jim comey should not be quote interfering in the election. that was a pretty serious charge. if jim comey and the fbi were under pressure to reopen the investigation based on new evidence that they they had that's why he acted that way. >> trump said the fbi rolled over. so i guess that's my point. >> today and tomorrow, what they see is they see somebody who represents change and taking things in a new direction. >> every expert says tomorrow for donald trump to have any chance of winning you must flip one of those traditionally blue states. >> we will. >> you look at the travel plans of secretary clinton seems like they think it might be michigan. will you win michigan >> we will win michigan. the great arguments that donald trump is making to the voters in pennsylvania, ohio, protecting the steelworkers, coal miners that hillary clinton promised to put out of work, talking about creating 25 million jobs,
7:14 am
unleashing energy investment, we feel good about the closing polls in the upper midwest states, in the last couple days, that have been elusive to republican presidential candidates but which keep on electing republicans statewide to be their chief executives and senators bs we also look at the rocky mountain states like colorado, nevada, maybe new mexico. >> the race has tightened and people saying because it's donald trump has been the most disciplined candidate possible in the last 10 days. "the new york times" reports that his campaign staff actually wrested his twitter account from him said you're not going to tweet for yourself any more s. that true? >> no it's not true. but i do like -- donald trump is at his very best when he is talking about theish use yous. one of the big arguments he is making to the american people is, if you don't like obamacare premiums rising and 116%, over 50% like pennsylvania, then i've
7:15 am
got a better plan. more free market centric plan. and hillary clinton deciding to go super low, i'm personally astonished that she would make everything about politics of personal distraction, negative insults in closing arguments, paid advertisements against donald trump. >> it's late for either to claim the high ground. >> we went to minnesota yesterday, people parked a mile away, 21,000 rsvp's posted 18 hours earlier. >> one more day. >> thank you so much. thanks for having me. >> appreciate it. >> steve is over at the board with more than -- more on the 270 electoral votes needed. how is it looking this morning? >> you're talking, this campaign is ending in an unlikely place t rust belt. i don't think at the start that's where we thought both would be finishing. why so you can see the state of play. you can see the hole donald trump is in. the gray states what we're thinking of as the toss-up states, and you can see if
7:16 am
you're trump with clinton that close to 270 you lose one of these she is over 270. they are getting trump campaign has been some discouraging news out of nevada. if clinton wins that with the traditional battle ground she is over 270. you've got to flip a state from blue to red if you are trump. where do you look? for states that fit rain shower demographic profile. rural populations, white working class. probably not a large latino population given the indications we're seeing. so where has trump been? minnesota, in michigan today, pennsylvania, wants to finish in these three. what do they see? they see like the upper peninsula, the rural parts of northern michigan, mccomb county outside detroit. they see like the iron range in minnesota, the rural sort of interior pennsylvania. those are the opportunities they see. make no mistake about it this is a long shot move by the trump campaign. there have been gray states disappear. >> and good point, who paid attention in school when we

learned the abbreviations of states. >> next he is going to wow us with the capitols. >> area codes. >> chuck and nicole are here as well. let's wrap up this comey business. okay. i mean what's the final word? he gives a letter on the end of october, now the sort of clean bill of health yesterday. going back to his original decision not to prosecute. where does this land in terms of the effect? >> immeasurable. watt in the poll, it halted her growth and the focus had been on her prosecuting case against donald trump. that shifted the focus. it also changed donald trump as a candidate. the very same article that you were asking kelly ann about has rich details for political junkies in "the new york times" i think it's an article any one who cares about what goes on behind the curtain should read because it talks about how donald trump's psyche changed. it was a moment that made him
7:18 am
think he could win this thing. so the impact is immeasurable because it changed the race that we saw, it also changed the candidate getting him on message. >> do we need more evidence of who her e-mails impacted her campaign than the fact we got crickets on this from her yesterday after what was good news? >> because they don't want to talk about it. there is no good news e-mail headline. it's sort of okay, it's not damaging. i think at the end of the day we're going to look back and say this may have cost the democratic party one or two senate seats. what this did down the ballot to galvanize republicans to basically vote like republicans again, you cannot you know, we may look at the makeup of the senate and say a comey effect. >> i'm old enough to remember when early voting didn't exist. it was absentee ballot. early voting is huge now like 40 million have voted. are there tea leaves or bread crumbs to read in what we've
7:19 am
seen? >> part is that road map we showed you. some of the indications about turnout among latino voters, energy, and if that's what we end up seeing in a state like naxt or nevada that could be very bad news for donald trump and again that could be part of why the trump campaign is looking at those other states. >> on turnout and energy. that poll on friday, 8 in 10 people say they are left repulsed or disgusted. do those people vote? are they motivated to vote? >> one of the sad and weird things about campaigns. how they end on negative ads. that's because they do motivate voters. i also think one of the things we'll talk about wednesday morning is hidden vote. a hidden trump vote. we'll see if there is. i think there might be a lot of wom voting differently than their spouses. i think there will be a lot of lessons wednesday morning. >> thank you so much. we're going to have a lot more
