raiders, chiefs, broncos. i ask you dennis brown, mainly nfc guy but is this afc division best in football? >> i don't know if best but it's competitive with the three teams with seven wins. competitive. great defenses played. efficient quarterbacks, great play markz, receivers, guys on the outside. it's up to the tops with the rest of the division. >> raiders playing well. they were off today. travel to mexico city at end of the week to take on a houston team a week from monday in mexico city, a home game for the raiders even though it's not in oakland. he'll coach jack del rio. >> we have to travel well, play well regardless of the circumstances. we understand what some of the

issues are there potentially. and it's been addressed. honestly prefer that not be our home game, travel a couple of time zones, be hours away from our own place but again i don't worry too much about what it is, we just understand what it is, prepare ourselves and go down there and have fun competing. that's how we do. >> it's not good but not something i want to do often but nice to mix up. i think it's very good mix-up and good thing to do. not something i want to do more than once a year but it's good they do and i'm with it. commitment to excellence, home versus road this season. they're better on the road and mexico city will be a road game so that's good for the raiders. score better on the road, defense is better, yards. everything is better on the road and mexico city is a road/home game. undefeated on the road.

but going to play in mexico city as home game. still count it as road game. talk about the difficulties of playing in mexico city, travel. foreign country, at altitude higher than denver. how difficult? >> there's difficulties in it but your body can't get ak climted to the altitude in a short period of time, you have to deal with that. raiders travel well. raider fans are all over. away games they play well. this is just another challenge with the foreign country, altitude, things like that. body can't get used to altitude so you just have to play with it. >> you're a warriors fan right? >> i am. >> sat courtside once. >> i did. >> after a good start goes off against the phoenix suns. highlights from the warriors coming up next. made that shot.

the election of donald trump, look at this. a more peaceful demonstration in oakland stay, how holding be hands went a long way. >> but first the president-elect gives first extensive interview since the election, talking about top priorities for the nation. news starts now. good evening and thanks for joining us for this special prime time edition. >> for the first time since the election donald trump sat down for interview to discuss plans for the presidency. discussed everything from obamacare to battling isis. >> we have team coverage with a look at the interview. revealed a more subdued donald trump. >> certainly did. he talked about everything and very clear about the top three priorities, immigration, lowering taxes and health care and talked specifics about how he plans to tackle those issues.

says won't accept a salary for being president, he'll only take $1. more anti-trump demonstrations in the bay area today. shut down traffic on the parts of market street. began around dusk. no word of any arrests. another anti-trump protest in golden gate park. by far the most powerful protest happened in east bay. thousands gathered in oakland and joined hands around lake merrick. this was billed as peaceful response to the election of donald trump. >> reporter: yeah that's right and from where we were standing, people were standing shoulder-to-shoulder and many said thought it was important to come out and stand together after the election and stand for those feeling worried about the future. >> no trump hate.

>> reporter: demonstrators lined the lake and raised hands together days after donald trump was elected president. says he knew he had to come. >> my heart brought me here. i see all these people who have the same hurt. >> reporter: julian brought a board for people to sign about the change they'd like to see. >> some people choose to use violence to protest and express themselves but i believe that we can have other means, more peaceful ways to communicate. >> reporter: crowds talked about pushing back against mass deportations, sexism and racism. >> going to increase giving to that and thinking about what to do for the next four years. >> reporter: posted event on facebook in part for friends to come together and have peace and support. but word spread quickly and number of people taking part grew dramatically. >> a lot of violence and racism and people not being accepting of people.

way out of your oppression. >> sports commentator who supported the national anthem protest said the quarterback betrayed cause by not participating in the election. continues into the 11:00 news cast. look at first picks. reince priebus and steve bannon. accused 6 executing a deputy early this morning captured after a man hadn't. dennis wallace responded to reports of suspicious van at fishing access area. it was stolen. when confronted, wanted felon shot wallace at point blank range. >> we believe that deputy wallace was killed outside of the car and we know for a fact that the gun used in this crime

was in direct contact with his head when the trigger was pulled twiechlts this is an execution. >> another deputy responding to the scene found officer wallace's body. 37-year-old david machato was captured hours later. fifth officer to die in the line of duty in the last five weeks. investigating the city's homicide of the year. found dead near lake cunningham in east san jose. police found the body but no obvious sign that the killing happened there. so far no suspects identified. >> and developing story overseas where rescue workers in new zealand searching through rubble after powerful earthquake there. started just after midnight. prime minister said at least two people killed so far but number could rise as rescue workers
