bay. the live camera shows us there is a little glow but not bad here. breaking news out of indiana where four children have been killed in an early morning house fire. the flames started about four hours ago about 70 miles north of indianapolis. firefighters say the children's mother along with two first responders were airlifted to nearby hospital for treatment. no word on their conditions at this time. the cause of the fire is under investigation. in the bay area, at least six people without a place to live after a late night house fire by downtown san jose. this started 12:30 this morning on 2th and jackson street near japan's house. it started in the basement of a house which made it harder for crews to control the flame. nobody was injured. the cause of the fire under investigation. 4:32. a heartbreaking story out of benicia. a 4-year-old boy dead after being hit and killed by a car at

a birthday party. the only person inside the car was a 12-year-old boy charging his cell phone. police say it's unclear if the car was running. the 12-year-old somehow the car lurched backward hitting the 4-year-old and another 13-year-old boy. we asked if charges could be filed. >> it is a preliminary investigation. everything we are seeing points to a tragic accident. >> the 13-year-old boy and boy inside the car were both taken to the hospital and treat forward minor injuries. 4:33. all new this morning, nabbing a station vehicle but not making it very far. one man under arrest after police he stole a san francisco fire department car from the station. this happened last night at a fire station south of market street. the thief managed to get into a red department suv and take off. an alert officer spotted the car and the suspect was arrested not

far away by the hall of justice. a missing dog and owner are reunited. concord police department posted these photos on facebook after getting calls about a dog in distress. the gray and white pit bull had gotten stuck between two fences. officers handed him over to animal control workers who looked up his micro chip information and he was reported missing by his owner. happening now, sacred heart community services scrambling to get any of turkeys for families in the need. >> bob redell joins us live this morning. there are more than 2,000 curities short right now? >> unfortunately, you are correct. you can see they have plenty of vegetables, fruit, bread and broth.

4:54. a tense clash in north dakota between police and protesters over an oil pipeline. it happened last night on a bridge more where the dakota access oil pipeline is supposed to be built. opponents say the project threatens the water supply for a native american tribe. they fired tear gas and rubber bullets to disperse the crowd. standing up and speaking out against president-elect donald trump did not stop people coming together in san jose in the name of unity and protection. two dozen civil rights groups nonprofits rallied at civil hall. they say he poses a threat to nondocuments, civil liberties and more. they want to see their movement grow nationwide. >> i'm not talking about
