weather. >> what did i do? all right. we get a quiet weather day. we're still dealing with very cold temperatures and that water left on the ground. yes, we have concern of black ice on the roadways. we get a live look at san jose. we have a dry morning out there. we will continue to see some clear skies as we go through the day. looking now at no rain here on the radar. l.a. is getting that and san diego. that weather moving to the south. 39 in livermore. 36 in napa. 35 in fairfield. santa rosa, 34 degrees. i'll talk about what to expect as we go through the weekend with warmer temperatures coming up in five minutes. and fog showing up in dublin. >> all that rain we have been having, moisture in the ground, in the air. and we're looking at 580. easy drive of traffic. this is a better view we saw the last five minutes. that's dublin.

the orange highlighting, the tri-valley, dublin interchange is just fine. i want to take you to one more portion. 101 at 37. we also have the closure. this is the third down now for 1 101. we don't know when this will reopen. they have some progress on part of the roadway. developing this morning, two members of the popular band tower of power are in the hospital after they were struck by an amtrak train in jack london square. we spoke to a witness who said the men almost hit her too.

around 7:00 last night, hazmat teams were ready. the airport was ready for the hazardous materials response. at that point, san jose fire didn't know exactly what kind of material they were dealing with. here's how one describes what the captain told them. >> they said, oh, don't panic, but there might be some antifreeze in the air. we're going to bring paramedics to check it out and see if everything is okay. >> as you mentioned, several flight attendants did feel sick. one was taken to the hospital. 81 passengers were on board the flight. they were coast on for 10 minutes as they checked the material on board. they made sure it was okay for everyone to deboard. >> kris sanchez, today in the bay.

after a new tentative contract, the city and police officers union agreed to a three and a half year contract including an agreement to the recruit and hire more officers. it has been the product of a roll back in pay, retirement benefits. officers still have to ratify the deal. >> floodwaters are dramatically receding along the russian river. here's what's left. a big muddy is mess. the russian river expected to continue dropping several feet today. well, crews on the peninsula are temp the rather closing a major road through traffic. prtola road will be closed

good friday morning. it is 4:39. we get a live look outside at san jose. all clear skies. evergreen, 40 degrees at 8:00. the normal high is 58 but we only make it up to 52 by 2:00. at least we do have the sunshine. it will be a cooler day. i'll show you warmer temperatures some five minutes. there is fog in dublin, livermore. watching the 580 commute. it richmond bridge just fine, along with the bay bridge and san mateo bridge. it's been a long way, but the day is finally here for the new muni cars. no word when we will see them in action. they will have to go through a

quick testing procedure. san francisco has until today to deal with a problem they have been following closely. the city wants to know about the building's tilting and sinking. once it has the answers they can start the planning the next step. an attorney has filed suit against the developer. >> it's time to stop requesting and time to order millennium partners to come up with a plan. >> the 58-story building has sunk 16 inches and liens slightly to the north and west. city leaders say they are getting conflicting information about how the sinking foundation can handle an earthquake. >> 4:41. the surprise visitor that showed up at a ben nearby that school. what he wanted, what he got, and why everyone is talking about it. an eager and injured beaver paid

a visit to an east bay elementary school this week. the furry friend walked up to the es an eager and injured beaver paid a visit to an elementary school of joe henry elementary yesterday morning. the school staff noticed the beaver was hurt and they immediately called animal control. they took the animal to a rehabilitation hospital. thankfully it is is getting the help it needs to return back to the wild.

blasting inside the cars because it is only 43 degrees. temperatures dropping behind all the wet weather with a tie expected to reach up to 55 degrees. it will take its time getting there. our temperatures holding steady in the 40s throughout the morning. as we go into the day, we will see the highs in morgan hill reaching 54 degrees. mostly sunny skies. over toward the east bay, 56 degrees. concord, 57. and 55 degrees in antioch and the peninsula. we will make it up to 55 in san mateo and san francisco. novato, 58. we look to the see what else is coming down the line. a slight chance of rain sunday morning. not a big deal. another system moves in early next week. it looks to move in late tuesday evening. thursday, heavy rain. here we go again with a few days
