good wednesday morning. i'm meteorologist kari hall. we are tracking heavy rain, where all of the yellows and reds, it is pouring down. a break in the north bay where you just saw heavy rain moving through there. also raining heavily in san francisco and down the peninsula, we are seeing it in spots around san mateo toward palo alto. the south bay a steady rain and in oakland, really pouring and that will continue to move off to the east. mike, how is this looking on the roadways? >> like blue, kari. the index shows you ponding and puddling through the middle part of the bay there. we have slowing in palo alto, both directions for highway 101. live cameras, as well and we'll show you with san jose. light traffic flow trying to ease up the commute but the conditions getting worse right now, same thing for oakland. look at the soupy conditions both directions, northbound away from us at the 66th avenue overcrossing. so an issue as the commute continues over the course of the midday hour.
