approaching willow pass road. they should both be blocking two lanes right in the same area. minor injuries. but a major crash with damage. no delays for any of these systems. that's good news. a developing story. the search has been going on all night. when day breaks, more crews will take to the chilly waters near the dumbarton bridge looking for a kayaker that went missing yesterday afternoon. >> reporter: good morning to you, sam is and laura. we can confirm the coast guard is continuing the search overnight. they search for 34-year-old kenneth maldonado. we'll show you footage from last night. the coast guard patrolling the waters. this is 4:30 p.m. yesterday afternoon by his friend. his friend was in a nearby raft.

the friend was rescued. they were in the bay towards the dumbarton bridge. he saw his kayak had capsized. it was upside-down in the water with only a flotation device inside. the search is posing challenges for crews out there in the water. >> it is is very dark. we don't have a moon. the tides are coming in, which means it's flooding, which means the water is is only going to get deeper and thicker. our temperatures are dropping. i believe we are expecting temperatures in the 50s to the 40s and with the ambient temperature of the water being 50 degrees. he is a hispanic male, 32 bald, with a goatee.

d.c. we have learned president donald trump will make his choice for salespeople court next thursday he is expected to issue more executives orders today the. he signed five yesterday, including one on the dakota pipeline. protesters are already responding to the news. this was the scene last night in seattle. happening today the university of california begins a three-day meeting to discuss a potential hike in tuition. the proposal was made by the president of the uc. they said they need to raise tuition to build new dorms and classrooms and hire new teachers.

francisco. the grade 1 to 100 is supposed to give an idea how clean or dirty that was when health inspectors popped in for a surprise visit. they lived up to the a year until their next surprise inspection. we are learning some restaurants are paying to get new scores. traditionally they have been told unannounced inspections could come every is six months to a which would mean a new health score. but the pilot program allows them to order an inspection do-over within 30 days. pay $191 and their low score is replaced with a brand-new one. the online review site yelp is urging the hometown of san francisco to stop the program, arguing it allows restaurant to hide their dirty health scores from consumers. it is featuring a i new alert that urges customers to call the city to complain. health officials in san francisco say the new program is
