sti spillway in danger. 200,000 people are under evacuation order. >> 75 north of sacramento. christie smith is there on where things stand right now. >> reporter: good morning. we're at command post setup near the dam. they want to bring that water level down about 50 feet. at this point no more water is going over the emergency spillway that was damaged and prompted the fear initially this bring stability to the situation as they have been able to release more water. they were trying to prevent water from flooding out. an evacuation order was issued. well over 100,000 people.

it's 4:45 right now. this is a live picture from the command center this morning. what we know right now is that the evacuation order is still in place for nearly 200,000 people in orville and surrounding communities. emergency spillway did overflow causing erosion. it is no longer spilling over that secondary spillway. the erosion is slowing this morning. they releasing water and rivers are going to continue to rice. pete is there and will bring update in a moment. >> that came 4:00 yesterday. the problem is we're getting more rain in the middle of the week. >> we're going to see small

window dry in now. to show you what's going on what looks like on the map, you see we have a few high-level clouds moving in. that's where the flood warn is in effect and include a large area. that come out of this dam and it looks like as we go into rest of the week, this area that we'll be watching will be a large concern. we see that flood warning and the storm systems lining up to the west of us. we see the pan of the clouds. we will see heavy rain moving in as we start to the week. this is what it feels like as you step out at 4:46. 48 degrees and 47 in oakland. 39 in morgan hill.
