a mudslide shut down a large stretch of road in ma rain county. this map shows where it happened. marin county sheriff's department tweeted about it at 1:00 in the morning. no word when that will reopen. we are sending a photographer to try to get video of the slide for you. happening today, thousands of women across the country and here in the bay area are not going to be at work. this is all part of the day without a woman movement. >> kris sanchez is live where one of the rallies will take place this afternoon. >> reporter: they did organize this one. welcome back to work, laura. the rally will happen at san jose city hall between 12:00 and 1:00. it is an effort and men who back them up to show the income in

equality and the other social issues between men and women. it is to show the economic power of women in terms of what women do in the workplace and how women spend their money. they put together the women's march in january which drew thousands and thousands of women. it is is unclear how many people will turn out for this one. we talked with quite a few woman approaching the day differently. >> we're going to remain open because we're a small business and we represent a lot of woman. but we will donate 20% of our proceeds to planned parenthood tomorrow. >> i don't feel that much of a rapport and support for that. >> the criticism is the same as a day without anim grant. only so many people can risk losing a day of work or lose

new this morning, gunmen storm a military hospital in afghanistan overnight it happened not far from the u.s. embassy in kabul. one of the gunmen dressed in a white doctor's coat took out an ak-47 and started shooting. at least four people were killed, 60 others wounded. it comes a week after dozens were can killed in coordinated attacks in kabul. the taliban has claimed responsibility for those attacks. no one has claimed responsibility for this most recent one. a scary story closer to home this morning. two lesser known california quake faults now the focus of a new study. it is is one scientists believe could produce a major earthquake. rose canyon andening will run from san diego to l.a. each fault was thought to be separate. but now researchers think it is one fault. it is capable of producing a 7.4
