put temperatures around san francisco mid to upper '60s and low 70s inland. even warmer through the weekend. a look at the forecast in a few minutes. now to see what's happening, as you would imagine, light traffic. the maps don't show anything interesting is. slowing around the construction area. the changes, they're widening 84. throwing out of the altamonte pass. travel times, exactly what you would expect. 26 minutes to the dublin interchange. a little longer than we expect the last couple of weeks. we started to adjust to a little more slowing again. isabel is seeing more traffic flow. looking to the approach to the bay bridge, 14 minutes from highway 4 to the bay bridge. as you get towards the bay bridge toll plaza, easy clear drive on the peninsula. bart trying to wave its way

through a dilemma. the transit agency is dealing with a $10 million hold. they will be weighing their options which does include a possible fare increase. bob redell live from the fremont with details on how this could impact thousands of commuters. bob, good morning. good morning to you, sam. bart is considering a number of options to raise revenue and lower the budget deficit. some of the options on the table include unfortunately service cuts and fare increases. the board will consider raising the fare to $2.25, an increase of 30 cents. and reducing the discount for seniors, kid, and people with disabilities from 62% to 50%. all the way up to 18-year-old riders. and a surcharge on tickets in hopes of purring riders to clipper cards which generate more revenue. delaying service until 5:00 a.m.

bart considering letting companies to advertise and through sponsorships through kiosks and video screens in the stations. bart blames the budget devastate on lower ridership. you look at the trains during the heavy part of the morning commute when they're full. they say low rider ship is down 4% monday through friday and 9% on weekends. they have enacted a hiring freeze. the budget deficit expected to be more than double from 10 million this current fiscal year to $25 million to $35 million which starts in july. bart directors will discuss these at a board meeting at 9:00 in oakland. this is just a discussion, not a vote. thank you very much, bob. it is 5:03.

we are staying on top of on breaking news this morning. in the east bay in pittsburgh at 10th and black diamond street, that is where a massive water main break flooded multiple homes in apartment complexes. these are pictures from our live crew at the keep. water is off now. crews are trying to prepare the water damage roadway. >> the water also got into the pavement of some homes. you see items just floating in water in people's basements. it was higher than two feet in places. some families telling us they have lost everything. this all started a little bit before 10:00 last night. it was a very long were night for residents. there's a look again at some of the items in their basement. sharon casuto is at the scene talking to victims. we will have a report at the bottom of this hour. one of the five accused of killing a south bay little

league coach is expected to be in court today. yesterday trevion and escbib were in court. navarro was stabbed outside a san jose nightclub where he worked security. an epidemic home burglary has residents and police on edge. the latest happened just yesterday. they're happening in the outer sun is set and lake shore districts on the west side of the city. the most recently burglary happened at 1:30 in the afternoon. burglars kicked in the door on morning side drive and ransacked the house and made off with more than two dozen guns. the residents weren't home at the time but the daughter says this crime has changed their lives. >> i think they have kind of lost trust and they are going to be a little hesitant every time they leave the house. they're going to be a little

crews trying to fix the pole. this covers a four block area. when they arrived at 10:00 last night, the water main break was sending water into several streets near black diamond. it filled four basements. belongings damaged affecting four houses and two apartment complexes. neighbors were devastated by the damage. workers their best to shut the water off and later turn it back on. >> we were just replacing a 12-inch water line last night. we put in seven feet of pipe. >> my neighbors who are completely flooded out. >> it took an hour and a half to turn the water off. then neighbors were without

a busy marin county, though, back open after mudslides shut it down for an entire day. we first told you about this wednesday on today in the bay. sir francis drake boulevard reopened at 1:00 this morning. mike inouye has been informing us about this as well. this is a repeated source of us from. it has closed three times since february due to mudslides. this morning police are asking for victims to come forward after a cupertino man is accused of stalking young girls repeatedly. he would hang around schools and churches is and approaching young girls trying to convince them to hang out with him. he found a collage of pictures of them they found in the home. >> when i heard about the

photographs of these young girls, yeah, it was pretty scary. >> four alleged victims at this point. but there could be 19 or more than that he stalked girls in the south bay and followed one to los angeles. the antolin garcia torres murder trial continues this morning. he is accused of killing sierra march. the defense will continue questioning dna evidence. they found five separate sperm on pants later found at her home. the samples were in conclusive. the fifth one did rule out garcia torres. they are using that as evidence that his client did not have contact with sierra lamar. video to show you. 5:35 on your thursday. san francisco police looking for armed robbery suspects. this is surveillance video they

want to see. they are suspected of terrorizing a mother and her 1-year-old daughter in a parking garage in mission. the suspects robbed the mom at gunpoint and pulled the little girl out of her car seat and tried to steal the car. >> the victim announced she had a child in the vehicle and they still robbed her and daughter is extremely brazen. u.c. berkeley police on the look for an armed robbery suspect. officers searched for a man who apparently was carrying a gun. the search was called off an hour later. >> hayward police say several suspects had recent violent crimes are in custody after a large scale operation. our cameras were there.
