pedestrians. she ended up hitting some of the family members, including a woman's grandmother and niece. police say the rage could have all been caused by an incident that happened inside the car. ? she was denied the return at the store, came out and was pretty angry about what had occurred in the store. >> well, the family said the driver was screaming and hitting the steering wheel when they saw her. police are trying to track the woman down. the cameras did not catch her license plate photo. they have her photo and know she was driving a silver honda with a dented hood. house lawmakers are on track hold a vote this thursday. they hope it will win support in their party president trump is scheduled to meet with lawmakers behind closed doors to get some

witness testimony continues in the trial of antolin garcia torres. he is the man accused of killing morgan hill teenager sierra lamar. they are in their eighth week. lamar disappeared on the way to school in 2012, never to be found. he is being charged with her murder and the kidnapping of three other women. he could be sentenced to death row. the latest rowdy side show event caught by bay bridge drivers on sunday. a pack of 30 dirt bike riders causing that chaos. officers did end up arresting one suspect. several more people were detained in east oakland. chp is saying one of its helicopter crews noticed the riders and followed the mayhem

from above. >> we are going to remove the video footage from highway. a lot of people were kicking car doors, throwing things, popping wheelies on the freeway. if we can identify the people we caught doing those events on tape, we will see prosecution later. and chp is not saying if this might be the same group of riders involved in another incident 10 days previously on highway 101 in san francisco. in that case you see the lyft driver who suffered a broken leg after an attack. we remember an icon in american women's history. >> it is rosie the riveter day. six original rosies, now in their 90s, will be there. gould was a welder during world war ii and pushed for the day to be celebrated.

many areas measuring a quarter to three-quarters of an inch of rain. we still see scattered showers across parts of the south bay, into the east bay and north bay. we'll talk about a slight chance of thunderstorms and what else to expect as we go through the week in two minutes. and a soupy look at oakland. the camera shaking a little bit. see the wind, a little rain. we have a little compute building coming up. mike, kari, thank you very much. wells fargo continues to take a big hit from the scandal involving bank bank accounts. the bank opened 40% fewer checking accounts than it did over the same time period a year ago. in the meantime, credit card applications were down half. wells fargo said last month's numbers were slightly higher suggesting the impact of the scandal is bottoming out. more americans are saving, just not enough.

ebay wants to take on amazon. >> for more, let's check in with landon dowdy live at cnbc world headquarters. good morning. good morning to you both. wall street could start off with green arrows. futures are higher. stocks struggled with the dow falling for a third straight session eyeing comments from several federal reserve officials after the central bank raised interest rates by a quarter persist. the nasdaq edging up half a point to 5901. >> americans are more comfortable with their savings than they have been in six years. but they are still not saving enough. ba bankrate.com says saving 10% of their pay. 21% are saving at all. the biggest reason, they have lots of expenses and debts. they don't have a good enough job is or they haven't gotten

around to it. ebay takes a shot at amazon. they are guaranteeing the delivery of three days or less on 20 million listed items. they will allow shoppers to search for one or two-deliveries. the service comes at no additional cost. back over to you. >> something to check out. thanks a lot, landon. for a live look outside, let's take a look at downtown san jose. wet weather, wet roads out there as you wake up this morning. it is early. 4:47 right now. quiet on the street. it was out on your windowsill. yeah. we have seen some of the rain moving through with the first leading edge of rain. another round this morning. and we will see several of these as we go through the week. downtown san jose, we will see tons of rain this morning. and some gusty winds. a slight chance of thunderstorms moving through.

then the rain does tape or off by early afternoon. heading into tomorrow, there will be more rain moving in. and this is what we are seeing right now. as this system moves on shore, a lightning strike in the north bay. the potential of more of those as we will see the system winding down and moving off towards the east. other than that, spotty rain. another round moving into the santa cruz mountains. for the south bay, scattered light rain. this is just enough to make the roads wet once again. then turning on the windshield wipers. a lightning strike moved closer from bodega bay. looking at today's forecast, partly cloudy skies. as we go into this afternoon, highs in the low to mid-60s. up to 65 degrees today in san francisco. looking at the timeline hour by hour, by 7:00, still rain coming

down. as more people getting out and about with the umbrellas, and the rain boots. 9:30, we start to see rain moving out of here. we will see sunshine going through the day. this is the break in between the next round moves in early tomorrow morning. there may be pockets of heavy rain before that round moves off towards the east. off and on the next couple of days. the potential of measuring half an inch to three-quarters of an inch for the next round of rain. we have several storm systems expected for this week. temperatures will be breezy. the heaviest round moving from north to south. it is out of here by saturday morning. sunday looks dry most of the day. during the evening, another round of rain moving in. we're not done just yet. pretty active even into next week. if you're following me on
