around pier 70 in the dog patch and will renovate buildings for few officers and a research center. not only do you have tesla and otto expanding, general motors is adding a thousand jobs to its cruise automation right here in the bay area. california is courting those sort of jobs through tax credits. we have been talking for a while, how automated trucks and cars will be the job killer and creator. it turns out business reporting like that, has caught the attention of the feds right here in san francisco. a report out of the san francisco federal reserve says the attitude of business reporters and the language they use, the subjects they talk about is as good an economic indicator as anything else. the fed says, in fact, business reporters often do a better job than the standard consumer sentiment surveys that forecast economic conditions. now -- >> are you patting yourself on the back? >> me, i don't think it's the san francisco fed. >> and because --

expect as we go through the day, starting out at 40 degrees in napa and fairfield, 48 degrees in oakland, palo alto and in san francisco and for the at&t park as the giants game this evening, it will be 60 degrees to start and cooling down very quickly by the time we have first pitch, it will be 55 degrees and as the sun sets, it will continue to cool off. right across the bay, at about the same time, imagine the traffic at that time is going to be in the upper 50s in oakland and the oracle arena is going to see those temperatures dropping back into the lower 50s by the end of the game. so then we turn our attention to the next weather system set to move in here on easter sunday. now, you see the cluster of clouds to the west of us. it takes a couple of days before it gets here. we will start to see the cloud cover increasing by tomorrow afternoon. so then on sunday, by 11:00 in the morning, the showers start to move into the north bay and during those early morning

every year. the latest review involved two separate cases. auditors found in both cases use of the tasers was justified. but auditors did find some red flags in how those cases were investigated afterwards. >> that includes how the suspects were interviewed by investigators. bay area transportation leaders will have a plan to hike bridge tolls by as much as $3. members discussed a regional ballot measure that would increase tolls and perhaps provide a break for fast track users. they were the first to sign off on that measure. if they do, they may appear on the ballot. all lanes are clear in the 3:00 hour in the bay. it happened near the onramp on the great america parkway in santa clara, you can see it on the map right there. two people died in a crash that involved two cars. we just got off the phone with chp. they could not confirm the two people who died were actually

driving each far car or if there were passengers involved. the crash closed both directions of great america parkway for hours. a developing story now a. stem cell research is under way this morning for this man, it's all the same man, santa rosa chiropractor who disappeared in the middle of the sex crimes trial. he was recently convicted of sexually assaulting four women, including two under aged employees, now, police are trying to piece together where he is. he was last seen in walnut creek last month. police are releasing four different photos of him in hopes of finding him. on the day he was missing, he was convicted of sexual assault charges and one misdemeanor. police are saying they are trying to find out if he is on the run. >> i have no indication at this point that he wanted to hurt himself and it was a matter of him not wanting to go to jail. if somebody sees him, they need to call their local law enforcement agency. >> there is a brench warrant out for his arrest and whereabouts. a san jose man just arrested

in connection with a sexual assault is expected in court today, police say that the 20-year-old was arrested on wednesday, but that alleged attack happened in late february. he is accused of trying to rape a woman near washington open elementary blocks away from santa clara university. police say the victim was able to fight off her attacker. new details now on a story we first told you about yesterday morning. we are hearing from the victim of a heart breaking crime in san francisco. julie wilkerson and her mom were at fisherman's wharf, preparing to scatter their loved one's ashes in the redwoods, that's when thieves broke into the rental car and stole everything, including the ashes. she is pleading in a desperate attempt to get the ashes back. >> we were actual will i to celebrate his birth and instead we're here talking to you guys about how he's not with us anymore. >> today is actually his

kind of a hat and jacket day and you will need the sun glasses, too. so it's one of those days that will be cool and breezy and you want to make sure you stay nice and warm. as we look ahead to the weekend, going to start the see this cluster of clouds moving in. out ahead of that a lot of dry air, so this is our dry weather. then on sunday, that makes night the bay area with some scattered showers. we'll start to see the cloud cover, before tomorrow evening. all clear today, tomorrow clear to start. then some cloud, but the rain holds off until sunday morning, then it rolls in from north to south and moving on shore by about 11:00 in the morning. even as we go through the day, scattered showers becoming a little more widespread and heavy, and it will pour throughout the day on sunday afternoon into monday, so scattered showers and then some very heavy rain set to move in by monday night into tuesday and lingering showers on tuesday into wednesday. it is going to be wet. you go at the time picture.

you are seeing blue skies there behind the transamerica building. it will be sunny today. we are getting ready for more rain. meteorologist kari hall is tracking the next storm in a couple of mrnts. as we get ready for more rain, it's already the wettest year on record in the sierras, just under 90 inches of rain or snow. the previous record was 88.5 set in the winter of 1982 the average for the region is 50 inches a year. more rain and snow is expected before the season ends as well. take advantage of that, snowboarders out there. new video showing a frightening ordeal to thrill seekers in maryland. 2,000 were stranded when the roller coaster became stuck. it happened yesterday afternoon at six flacks america in prince george's county. first responders worked include the night had to take them out one by one. luckily, no one was injured. >> very luckily at that.

all right. one child is in critical condition after a stolen car crashed into a school bus, all of this coming out of denver, colorado. it was a the scene yesterday. police say the stolen car ran a stop sign and clipped another car, then crashing into the school bus t. bus then ran into a tree. there were 39 students on the bus at the time. most of them just had bumps and bruises. five were hospitalized. two men are behind bars this morning after police say they were involved in an armed robbery at a south bay light rail station. 20-year-old matthew stone and 18-year-old lorenzo green were arrested yesterday after a robbery was reported at the pta station in south san jose. investigators stay two robbed a woman at gunpoint. they are due in court on monday. this is an interesting story for anywith under that uses facebook. the next time you pick out your next profile pic. you may want to ask a stranger. profilers asked people the rate
