your monday, post-easter forecast coming right up. that's the golden gate bridge. today in the bay starts right now. thanks for joining us on this kind of muggy morning. i'm kris sanchez in for laura garcia-cannon. >> kwlm sam brock. there's your proof. couldn't see the golden gate bridge. it's moderate temperatures too. >> not that cold. you do still need a jacket to keep you dry, and we have seen the mist and drizzle rolling across parts of the bay area. pretty much what we'll see off and on throughout the north bay, and in san francisco for part of the day. partly cloudy skies, looking at spotty light rain. nothing too dramatic, but we have wet roads. mostly dry in the south bay with cloudy skies and a slight chance of rain, and temperature trends throughout the day will be in the upper 50s. before you know it, and into the upper 60s today. not a lot of sun in the forecast. i'll let you know when we will
5:01 am
see the sun in about seven minutes. >> good morning. it looks like we're starting to see a bit of a troubled spot in the east bay near oakland. southbound 880, earlier, i was reporting two accidents. it looks like unrelated. it looks like now there is an additional accident, a third accident up ahead. one of the vehicles might be blocking one of the lanes there. tow truck is on the way. as of now, it doesn't look like it's affecting too much, but it has slowed down along the 880. if we take a live look right now at that traffic cam, you can see we are starting to see a lot more traffic at this hour. at about 5:00. if you're heading out near that area, take extra time. back to you. >> thank you. searching for more suspects this morning after this weekend's violent protests in berkeley. this video of a supporter of president trump punching a woman in the face is what everybody is talking about. >> quite jarring video there. one clip of just a lot of

5:04 am
>> that all happened early sunday morning. four teenagers had to be rushed to the hospital with gunshout wounds. a group of teenagers was standing outside the house when someone in a car nearby opened fire. the only clue investigators have released so far is that the suspects were in a four-door car. all the victims are expected to recover from their injuries. right now, a manhunt in ohio for the suspect who committed a heinous act, murdering an elderly person at random and taking the video and uploading it to facebook. the video shows the gunman who police have identified as steve stephens getting from his car and approaching the elderly man. the victim was then told he was about to die. that's where the video freezes. stephens says because of a woman. he then shoots the man at point blank range. the woman he referred to in the video is apparently stephens' girlfriend. in a separate video, he taked about killing other people too. >> hopefully i'm go to try as kill as many people as i can.
5:05 am
>> we want this to end with as little -- with as much peace as we can bring to this right now. >> after stephens posted his video, it was viewable for about three hours until facebook removed it and deactivated the account. police have found no evidence of other killers. >> happening today, the san pablo man accused of shooting and killing his ex-girlfriend in front of her own children is expected to enter a plea today. lawyer mcbride drove up to franklin's car and opened fire earlier this month in richmond. the children in the vehicle were not mcbride's. the man police say swiped a jerry rice autographed football that netted thousands of dollars for charity is now under arrest. videos seem to clearly show the man taking the ball which was auctioned off last weekend at a milpitas restaurant. someone bid $3500 during that charity auction for orphans in china. police say this weekend,

through the week, so we'll talk about that timeline coming up in about four minutes. heading over to veaniy now tracking what's happening on the roadways. >> well, it looks liex those three accidents going on in the east bay near the oakland area, well, we're starting to see slowing with our speed sensors. it looks like it is because there is a vehicle blocking a lane near high street on southbound 880, and not to mention, we have three fender benders. so we're seeing slowing. if this is your earl armorning commute, we're also seeing slight slowing on the northbound side. that could be because people tend to stop and look over at what's going on. let's look at what it looks like on the roads. plenty of vehicles out. it's 5:08, but we're already seeing a backup there. drive safe. back to you. >> thank you very much. it's 5:08. coming up, are tensions boiling over when it comes to north korea? president trump is holding talks on that very issue today at the white house, and vice president

the radar, we see there's some light rain, especially moving into sonoma county, some more of the very light spotty showers in marin county, and san francisco also showing some light rain. but it's not really that heavy. but then as we look at the camera, well, you can barely see anything there. so the fog definitely an issue, and also those cars in front of you, splashing up some water. it's 56 degrees and heading up to 62. as we go through the next couple days, light rain moving through and breezy winds. tomorrow, more of the same. there may be a very few heavy downpours moving through parts of the bay area, and the rest of the week we'll be warming up as drier moves in. mainly toward the end of the week. looking at all of these high temperatures today, milpitas up to 65 degrees. 65 also in los gatos. in hayward, 64. and 67 in walnut creek and vallejo. in the peninsula, to 62 at half moon bay and 65 in san mateo. san francisco going to see some

lower 60s there. with that off and on light rain, and mill valley today up to 64 degrees. let's see how this pans out for the rest of today. mostly cloudy sighs and at times, light rain. not expecting anything much more measurable than what we have had already. later on today, we see the heavier showers returning once again. may linger into early tomorrow morning's commute for most of us early risers and then as we go through the rest of the day, going to see breaks in the clouds. another system moving in by wednesday night. but that looks to get out of here early thursday morning, and then we'll get a chance to warm up. rainfall totals for most of us will be very light. up to about a tenth of an inch for the east bay peninsula and the south bay. north bay, you're going to see much more measurable rain and a lot more water for your gardens up there. low 60s in san francisco. and also going to see that sun coming out for the end of the week. and for the inland areas, look toward the end of the forecast
5:20 am
as you make plans for the weekend. how about some mid 70s. there's going to be absolutely gorgeous. and vianey showing us how the roads are moving as you head out on this monday morning. >> it looks like people have managed to slow down. i think it might be because of a little bit of rain they have been seeing early on. so far so good. no major accidents. the three accidents i reported earlier causing backup on 880 southbound, it looks like they have cleared those off to the side. the tow truck arrived and moves the vehicles over and cleared up the lanes. we're seeing this is typically an area that does see slowing. westbound 580, starting to see regular tip morning backup at this hour. please make sure to take extra time. also seeing some stop and go traffic at niles canyon road. and i'm trying to figure out what's going on up there. chp hasn't reported anything, but we're seeing those traffic sensors picking up major slowing. i'll keep a close eye on what's
