this morning here hon the hotel 6 in san jose if you take a look down here you can see the san jose police department crime vam o van is still on the scene as officers continue to investigate. one man is dead. and police say two other men suffered gunshot wounds. you can see one man hobbling out of the hotel. it's not clear if he was one of the people shot. police tell us they got a call from someone who said they heard several shots fired this morning at the motel. >> upon our arrival we located one male deceased and two others injured. two were transported to the hospital. other than that the investigation is ongoing. >> reporter: the two men injured were taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. lieutenant king teld us the shooting inside the motel rooms .police did not evacuate the motel but escorted guests out who wanted to leave this is the city's eighth homicide of
