arrived and walking up to an armored bearcat which is in front of the house in question. the house in question is off to the right side of the screen, you can't see it because there's another house blocking it. but the police have had this home surrounded for a number of hours now. now, from what we have gathered from talking to the gilroy police department which is running the scene, the sheriff's office helping out, there was a burglary in another neighborhood overnight. the homeowner there interrupted the burglary and the man in the home was shot in the leg, taken to the hospital, expected to survive. it's not clear why, but law enforcement ended up at this home and ended up taking three people into custody. at least two juveniles. one a girl. she's since been released, but the two men are still in custody. one we know is definitely a juvenile. the other looks like that, but they haven't confirmed that person's age yet. since then, the police department and sheriff's office have been at some points speaking over a p.a. system, yelling at whoever is in this home, if there is someone in there, to come out with their
6:34 am
